Im also suffering from this, since i cant speak in my mother tongue, that happens to be the native language here aswell. That does create a huge communication gap, and affects ones social life.

no isnât there that masoor ki daal which is orange-ish in colour and then thereâs the kaali masoor ki daal which is brown⊠I was referring to the brown one

Does it prevent you from taking an initiative inorder to clarify your thoughts when you know that you might not be able to fully express yourself with the limited vocabulary you have in that language.e.g. You are in a different country where you have to speak a language you are not very good at.
p.s. At times it happens to me in english, at times I might even create a misunderstanding by unintentional wrong selection of words.

i do tareef often, NOW!
u would have seen me a year agoâŠall my friend had this tareef issue. i am quite kanjoos in doing tareefâŠand if i am doing tareef than u never know how i equalizes it (by doing -] tareef)

I speak English which is spoken by 1 billion people and Urdu which can be understood by another billion
All I need to do now is learn French, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin and I am set
In that case, I just have to acquire Spanish and Arabic! I already speak English, French, Urdu and Mandarin.
