Those of you who wax chin, jawline, sides of face does you hair grow back thicker coarser?

i have seen ppl with bad facial hair but by using hot wax their hair gets lighter but the best is getting threading be4 laser i used to get it threaded and was good

I currently bleach mine and it looks so obvious i feel really conscious would you advise i get it removed

^ Threading is less likely to stretch and harm your skin, but waxing gives a cleaner effect, I think.

Depends on your skin really. Some people break out after threading, some people say that the waxing causes wrinkles...it really does just depend on your skin.

i wax my face once in 3-4 months , my hair is not thicker , its such a nice clean look u get
but u have to be sure taht teh person u go to uses good wax and not teh recycled one

i think skin breaks out only if the hair breaks and is not properly threaded....and also my cousins friend used to do her threading herself at home she had darker uperlips (as that was the place she was threading) the lady at the parlour told her ppl who tend to do threading themselves get dark skin after a while i hav been careful since den but i wonder why dis happens..

If your method of hair removal consists of pulling hair from their roots (waxing, threading, plucking, using epilator).......then over time.....the roots become weaker and either the hair will start growing more finer (lighter) OR it can stop growing.
If you wax your facial hair, please keep in mind that waxing removes the top layer of your skin. This causes your skin to become more sensitive to the sun (leading to possible hyperpigmentation and wrinkles). SO.....after waxing, apply a good sunscreen 15-30 minutes prior to going out during the day time. Also, keep in mind to wear sunscreen during cloudy days as well because 80% of the sun's rays are still emitted.
There are also dermatologist prescribed creams which eventually put an end to facial hair growth. You can look into that and other alternative treatments (laser, etc).
I opt for sugaring and haven't experienced any side effects ALLAHUMDULILLAH.

threading hurts me.. i feel a lot of pain.. waxing is easier because in one wax strip lot's of hair are removed.. i do threading for eyebrows..

never waxed my face....
depends on your skin..if you scar easily....dont try it....because i have seen hyperpigmentation on many girls' faces due to waxing...
i scar easily and have waxed my upper lip for god knows how long, also when sometimes getting a facial they liked to wax my t-zone to remove blackheads so that's that. i do bump up but the whole "stretching your skin" is b.s. you actually stretch and hold your skin in odd positions for threading...
Waxing should never theoretically make you hair grow coarser. If that fails, well, laser hair removal's becoming affordable everyday!

all these people who are saying waxing will make the hair grow back finer on the face are WRONG. if you are sensitive to androgens there is a very high risk of the follicles being strengthened (in the 'beard' area) and they will start producing dark coarse terminal hairs. you won't know until you try.
and come on, who here is actually gonna admit that 'yea, i waxed and now i have a thick hairs like a man and ingrowns'.

waxing, sugaring, threading dont make ur hair grow thicker and coarse. when ur pulling ur hair out it means weaker follicle everytime. it makes hair thinner and sometimes stop their growth permenently. so whoever says waxing, sugaring or threading or even shaving makes hair grow coarse and thicker r dumb totally. because even wth shavng there is no magic in it which will make ur hair coarse or thick otherwise there wud be no bald me.
we jst notice hair more after they grow back because our face have been smoother b4 thats it! same goes for shaving, the hair that grows again has blunt end cuz of cutting it (shaving) which feels like its coarses or thicker but its not neither does it look.
