I would happily do all the stuff you mentioned if the woman in question is my mom, my wife or any relative or someone whom I know. I’d only be sure go out of my way to do anything for a woman if she was my mom, my wife or a relative. Otherwise, I would only open the door if I’m already ahead of her, and maybe i’d help carry heavy items if I see they’re having trouble with it, depending on how full my hands are and how far out of my way I’d have to go to help them.

-Corporate america (main culprit behind feminism) exploits women, becaue more labor force is needed.
-Inflation goes up, since now more two-income families in the picture and they can afford
-Chivalry becomes an endangered concept
-Women’s average lifespan are now dangerously creeping up to that of men, since now they are affected by the same afflictions that used to affect men: stress, hypertension, diabetes, cancer.
-a working woman’s health is worse than the one that stays home.
-Divorce is on the rise. Feminists have failed to change the male psyche.
Corporate America does not exploit women, it exploits people. Women are not the sole victims of a capitalist society, the world in general (third world to be exact) suffers.
Inflation is also not due to women. Really, I hope you are kidding.
Womens lifespans have for a long time surpassed that of their male counterparts, indeed in the animal kingdom women are expected to live longer then men. The human race is no exception. Ever since birthing became a lot less mortality-taking, women have lived longer. If you must “blame” anyone for the longevity of the females life- it should be the gender neutral doctor, or rather medical sciences in general.
I would like to see the stats to support this claim. How does staying at home endear you to the healthy fairy.
Divorce is due to many reasons. Feminism means that nolonger does the woman have to take bull off a guy and now she is nolonger the silent victim.

I would gladly give up all the chivalry in the world to be able to choose where I work. Who needs men to open doors or to carry stuff? I am more than capable of doing that and more.

Waisay, I have seen some women who are.... I mean.... rude. Sometimes I hold the door for them, they swift through and do not bother to even smile or look back or even say thanks. I find myself standing there looking like a joker / chauffeur holding the door. Then I think of those poeple who hold it for me.. makes me feel better.

Having the ability to do something doesn’t mean you should. That’s like saying I can throw my garbage on the street, so I will.
By the same token, a guy opening a door for me is not implying that I am incapable of doing so for myself.
Maybe I’m a romantic, but I think the finer things in life (us women) should be treated in a “finer” way.

Its just a different way of looking at things… For me, being treated as an equal is more important that being protected as the “weaker sex”.
If it wasn’t for these feminists before us, we’d still be forced to conform to patriarchal expectations.

Women are paid less than men for the same jobs. If you talk about "degree"of exploitation, women take the cake everytime. Capitalists said dance, and the feminazis did.
No one disputes the fact that women outlive men. Read my post again. I simply stated that women’s life expectancy is on the decline. Now, scientists are speculating that the main culprit could be added “stress” women have brought upon themselves as a result of working alongside men.

This is a corollary to the above-mentioned observation (which i am entitled to have).
There is a possiblity that stay-home wives might be at a greater health risk (obesity) than a professional women (work-out), but that is striclty a personal choice. Whereas if you strip out the voluntary factor (eathing unhealthy) and focus on the involuntary factor such as “stress,” then you can make an apples to apples comparison.
I hope you dont want me to furnish stats that says a working woman has more stress than a stay home wife. Do ya?

But the bottomline is divorces are on the increase (currently at 50%) and two-thirds of the divorces are initiated by women. Draw your conclusion the way you want.

Let me ask you something. Do you think marriage should be abolished too? Because that’s where the movement is heading. Islam recognizes that men and women are not equal and to treat them as such would only create conflicts (as the western society is realizing). It doesnt mean that women are inferior or superior to men, but that they are different and their needs should be catered to accordingly.
Feminists fail precisely because in attempting to be equal to men, they end up imitating men. Men blaze the trail, and feminazis follow suit, and in doing so, these chammpions of women’s lib end up making an agenda that dont suit real women’s needs.
E.g., If menn take their clothes off and urinate in the park, these feminazis clamor and want equal rights to do the same ; at which men smirk and say " go right ahead."
P.S. I am not against women working and neither is islam.
