Irem I think everything depends on your definition of cheap and decent.
But I think if a person is cheap, he will always be "cheap". even though everyone (men or women) adjusts after marriage. I think if someone has spent their whole life being "cheap" a simple marriage will not make too much difference. He might just adjust himself to make sure that the wife does not know that he is being "cheap".
And no, not all men are cheap.
