I ma not trying to stalk you or get on your nerves but are you an avid jogger/runner as your signature implies? This my be a good sign cause if you are maybe you can teach this punjaban lolitas hell bent on jogging a thing or two, on how muslim women in western world jog/run.

I think if we hade 50,000 women marching in full covering Hijab; there will be praises (in Khutba’s, on TV, on Radio, etc.) how our “sisters” are protesting the injustice of seeing some western inspired women run. There will be Hijab parties (with Samosa, and Roh Afza) all over the country.
My only after thought is that what’s the guarantee that no Man will sneak in the protest wearing a Burka?

If you dont give a rats ass how you act when someone limits your rights then consider it a personal reaction, its hard to see just any, absolutely ridiculous public behaviour as a form of social action towards better rights in general.
sure theres visible ways of demonstrating, but do you honestly see any good coming from this for women in general? people are ridiculing this action, why deliberately caricaturize your cause?

CM, I will tell you why women running is a monumental event in Pakistan. Title IX in the NCAA charter, estbalished equal funding for women’s sports comparable to men’s. What it did was create scholarships for women athletes, i.e. opportunities for women/girls to have access to college based on their ability to excel at sports, similar to what men had. THis resulted in a boom in girls sports in the US at the highchool and middle school levels…sporting activites give confidence to developing youth, it establishes a concept of achievement, goal setting and excelling beyond ones capabilities.
In my NGO, girls sport programs lead to higher grades and better self worth for kids from disadvantaged economic backgrounds…Next time you a re in NY, I will take you there..you can see it yourself, the impact that opportunities afforded through sports have on young girls lives.
What these women did was a watershed event…like the woman who became a pilot.

CM, How is that off topic? But you are absolutely right that casual relationship between two instances one of which has never been done before, is hard to find? I hope you took some stats? You will learn with time and when you get a job that requires analytical skills. Until then, keep trying. Take some courses.
