I just started watching a few episodes; I like it so far. I cant stand the main family in it, especially the mother and daughter in law...like how in the first episode when the Maulvi's daughters wanted to pray namaz...they acted as if the girls asked for something soo outrageous, like if they could start shooting up heroin with the little kids or something..they just wanted to pray!! Were their guests all going to have a heart attack if they saw someone praying!! Such pathetic little minds
Is this any good? is it worth watching? Its made by javeria and Sood...their dramas are never ending thats why I am a bit scared to watch it...their first show yeh zindagi hai or something like that was good but it was so long that i just didn't want to watch it after a few episodes.
i think it was good in the start, but now it feels like being dragged. But that is happening with nearly every drama, every new drama / serial initially is of 13 to 26 episodes, it is after the ratings of the first 13 or 26 episodes that the fate of that project is decided, if the ratings are good the story is extended whcih sometimes becomes ineteresting and most of the times looses its interest and attraction, and if the ratings are below average, then its wrapped up asap. thats how the showbiz all over the world is working.

There are some great dramas who ended at right time, like Bol Meri machli, Char Chand, Meri adhoori Muhabbat, Uraan, Hum Tum and there are more but I can't remember the exact names. I think it just depends on the production, some producers may get carried away become overconfident and drag the story, some just prefer to settle with quality over quantity.
I really like the whole concept, its quite refreshing but this drama is such a cliche, you could easily tell that its a typical novel story and that leaves me saying that not every novel story makes a good play/movie.
The drama could've had more artistic depth instead of just melodrama.
unfortunately this is not a drama that i keep looking forward to during the week, i usually end up missing the episodes because i forget about it! so im glad its ending lol
I just saw the first episode today and absolutely loved it. Farah shah's character is my most favourite at this point. She is doing full justice to the role.
The lines said by her when asked for qibla rukh were remarkable (sorry can't find a better suited term here).
"rukh ka kia karna hai. Namaz hee parrhni hai na, kisi bhi rukh pe parrh lo". Oh my lord! Wonder if such characters really do exist.
guess so..!
might he got rejected in the questioning.
a friend of mine told me that she saw some shots of him in UK in the complete title song, im not sure, haven’t seen it

This is really very sad :D
I think they wont spend money on sending him to the UK...i wish they could keep the suspense shooting on the same lines as in novel....side by side..

agreed... saud javeria wont spend a penny for UK, instead they'll use the archival shots and keep the money in pocket :P

LOL you're probably right.
What a bummer that they only "shot" half the novel! I was wondering how they were going to shoot the UK scenes and they took the easy way out to end the drama with the Pakistan story :D
