OMG I'm in love with this drama.Excellent excellent direction and amazing story v v close to reality.I love Imran's and Maulvi sahab's acting.Imran has really improved alot he's become a v good actor now.

yeah same here:(:(:(Ufff aik aisay banday pay yeh sari bakwas sun k kia guzari hogi it cant even be imagined.Too too sad.But this is reality this drama has shown the evil aspect of our so called upper class v v well.

yeah but it was way too filmy and thus did not garner the same feeling or impact as a more subdued scene would have.

^^ It was straight out of a 1980s / early 1990's movie. Infact I think a lot of Amitabh movies from the 70s had a similar type of scene, the rich people telling off the naik shareef guy. Not necessarily a molvi in this scenario but a good person "jiss ki izzat hi uss ka sub kuch hoti hai"
Also today's episode where Imran Abbas is leaving the house was also along the filmy lines.
Overall I think the over the top drama will keep people glued to this one. Plus it is the typical story of the rich guy shunning his parents for a girl and trying to make it on his own. We all cheer for the miserable fella and want him to do well :-) [myself included]
Imran Abbas is doing quite well. I think this is probably one of the few characters that he has played where the character is fleshed out pretty well and Anjum is getting good work out of him.

The 20 rupay ki namaaz wala scene was done well. It looks like the story might move beyond the "boy loves girl he can't have" scenario. Let's see. Wish maulvi's sahab's daughter's makeup was a bit tone down to give the drama a little more realistic feel.

Somebody please tell me, what on earth does it mean to have this david star and ONE EYE on the cover page of this novel? I liked the drama on geo too much, that i have downloaded the novel, but what? i was shocked when i saw this cover page and i dont understand, what connection this novel and hashim nadeem do have with the zionism??? Any clues guys?

Wait I wanted to listen to all of the 6 Kalmaas!!
you can see that Imran Abbas has really tried to give a subdued performance rather than his usual non-acting.
They might change the story from the novel esp. if the novel focuses on Jews??

Sifted through the novel and it is going to get more filmy than what we have seen so far :-s
Personally I did not find the novel all that. The writer tried to tell a compelling story but failed miserably IMO. Hammad has been made into a sort of superhero without the cape and tights.
If they do show the story in London, I am not sure how they are going to show all the British people. My only guess is that either they will change the story or the characters. I have a feeling the 2nd half or the last 15 episodes will be butchered.
On 2nd thought they should have made a movie out of this novel rather than a drama....

interesting that even a pious maulvi cares about what 'duniya' will say if he allows the marriage between hammad and imaan; i thought 'Allah valay' are suppose to be different....

^^ I think the writer is trying to show that some so called imaan vaalay are only so from the surface. Beneath that surface, they are no different from anyone else. If Maulvi sahab was a true Allah ke banday then he would not turn his face away from Hammad every time he tried to talk to him. Kisi ki dil azaari karna gunnah ka kaam hai.
