Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
Actually you did single out MQM first by saying that operation should be started from nine-zero, and secondly by not mentioning any other terrorist organization like ANP and Lyari gangs.
I said start with 90 because mqm karachi main qatlo gharat ka bazaar kayee saloon se lagaaya howay hay. This should be stopped asap if you think Pakistan should survive and prosper. Start with center of violence and move out ward to cover every part of Karachi which includes Lyari gangs and ANP dominated areas. Is it difficult for you to understand?
Bhai mere nafrat ka chashma utaro aor geo aor geenay do waali policy apnao jis main sab ka bhala ho.

You said you did not single out anyone in your last post, but you did single out MQM by only mentioning 90. You did not mention ANP or Lyari gangs in that post.
That's what I said. Now you can beat the bush as much as you want. I see no point arguing.
I agree with operation against every terrorist regardless of political affiliation.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
^^ Lyari people nor ANP go around collecting bhatta from the whole city, they don't take a cut in every business, legal or even religious transactions...you can't sell a house, build a house, rent a house, vacate your tenants, without paying MQM protection money...
You want to get your degree released from KU or get a telephone line installed, you can't do that unless you pay off an MQM goon...
You can't pay fitra or donate your qurbani ki khaal to no one other then MQM, you have no choice or freedom to make a decision in this regard...
My uncle is a lawyer, a woman came to him wanting Khulla from her husband, my uncle told her, per legal procedures and norms, it will cost a certain amount of money and a certain bit of time. My uncle contacted the husband, who told my uncle, that the woman just wanted to leave because she wanted to marry somebody else...my uncle still pursued the case, until a few days later the woman showed up, telling my uncle not to bother, she hired the services of MQM, a few MQM goons armed with TT's went over to the husband and he promptly sign the papers...
Such is the overwhelming and stifling control MQM has over the citizens of Karachi...
Without a doubt they are the biggest anti-Pakistan terrorists and have been such since the Mukti Bahani...and whoever so thinks otherwise is Anti-Pakistan themselves...
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
Because the MQM commit the vast majority of killings, and you know that.
Even if MQM kills 100 Pashtuns and ANP kills MERE 10 Urdu-speaking, it still does not matter. Terrorism is terrorism.
If ANP kills people just like MQM then it is also a terrorist organization, just like MQM.
Admit it!

Don't try the cheap trick of saying people who oppose the facist MQM hate Urdu-speaking people.
[/QUOTE]
Well, if people try the cheap trick of saying that those who support rights of Urdu-speaking people are all supporters of MQM, then why not the other way around as well?
Besides, if it is just about MQM and not about Urdu-speaking people in general then what is the purpose of this thread? Because this thread talks of Urdu-speaking people becoming a minority, thus it is not just about MQM but about Urdu-speaking people in general. Cheap trick. eh?

Both Lyari gangs AND ANP are involved in terrorism in Karachi alongside MQM. That's why if condemnation is to be made then it should be regardless of ethnicity.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
Pushtuns are most welcome in Karachi.
But do they have a right to occupy people's flats and houses?
Do they have right to block I I Chundrigur Road with their rickshaws when they are asked to control the noice and smoke?
Do they have right to stare other people's women (while locking inside their own in homes) in Karachi's parks and other spot?
Do they have right to drive their vans of their free will? blocking the roads?
Do they have a right to not to allow other people to do any business in their strongholds?
These are the mains reasons of the current wave of anti - pushtuns actions of MQM since the year 2006 (when Shahi Syed became ANP, Sindh's president). MQM over reacted and killed many innocent pushtoons people which is highly condemable. But the other side do bear some of the responsibily. ANP goons are not innocent either. They block all exit to Orangi Town and kill and beat common people going to work.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
^ Do all Pushtuns to the stuff you mentioned? Does this all justify killing? Are all Pushtuns criminals? both MQM ghundas and ANP gorillas claim others 'started it'. Is this justifiable? This is what Taliban claim as well, 'USA started it'.
When you react to violence through violence, this is what you get. A mess. MQM has more responsibility since they have big influence in city and provincial politics.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
Even if Pakhtuns are 20 percent, redistricting of Pakhtun dominated areas in Karachi have been very cleverly done in a way that they become minority in geographical seats predominated by Urdu speaking population as a result Paktuns can not have a single in National Assembly, becoming disproportionately under represented in state bodies, at provincial and federal levels.
During General Zia’s rule, in his quest to break the PPP vote bank in Sindh the parliamentary constituency boundaries in Karachi were so arbitrarily drawn to favour the MQM to the disadvantage of others. That goes a long way to explain how the MQM always manages to “win” 90% of the seats in Karachi, despite the fact that the Urdu-speakers are only half that number. Other factors include the blatant rigging you have by the MQM and the widespread intimidation of Urdu-speakers forced to vote for the MQM. To make it a fairer playing ground for all parties in Karachi the solution is simple, for the Election Commission to redraw the constituency boundaries in Karachi as they are drawn all over the rest of Pakistan. Then you will see that most constituencies will be ethnically mixed as most areas are in Karachi and this will encourage the integration of people, with the ANP, MQM, PPP being forced to campaign across community/ethnic boundaries to win votes and seats.
In fact General Musharraf did the same when he bifurcated Hyderabad District to separate the Sindhi-speaking parts, and allow the MQM to take charge there as well.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
Urdu speaking aren't that bad either.
Do you see me crying about it?
You MQM lovers/parasts are the ones going around burnin buses, rickshaws belongin to pakhtuns and terrorizing them. Remember bhai's r-rona when the IDPs started to pour in?
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City

I am not the MQM lover. But your overlooking of terrorism by PPP and ANP shows your hatred of Urdu speakers in general.
I know some other rabid racists personally. They stink as much as you and your racist opinions do.

That is bad. But what about Nawaz monkey's Taliban brethren occupying land, committing kidnapping for ransom and bank robberies? Where is your condemnation of those sons-of-b*?

Can you give examples of such NA seats in Karachi?
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City
It was indeed PPP's Govt during 1993-1997 which created Malir District on ethinic lines which ridiculously include Gadap in the far North-West but excluded the nearby Saudabad/Model Colony but again very ridiclously included Karachi Airport.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City

I do see you braying about it.
for the topic, Karachi is part of Pakistan and all people of Pakistan have equal rights to settle in the city. Why are we making it a big deal like the MQM goos would whine about it. Come on people. This place should have educated people.
Re: Karachi - now the largest Pashtun-speaking City

Practically every constituency in Karachi was gerrymandered to favour the MQM by the Zia government. That partly explains how the MQM manages to win upto 90% of the seats in Karachi when urdu-speakers only half that population, other factors like widespread intimidation and ballot stuffing by the MQM allow them to achieve large voting figures. Where else in the world's biggest cities (London, Paris, New York etc) do you have one party win almost 90% of the seats and that party founded on ethnic exclusivity? Maybe you find examples in Mafia dominated southern Italy or absolutist dictatorships.
