I know someone who met the b-trd, and they said the toad was soaked in alcohol. But bhai tou bhai he or bhai tou apna he, chahe yahoodi, goron or kafiron ke mulk me beth ke remote control se pura city chalye.. But it's okay, MQM's maulvis can pass fatweys on IK's divorce, yahoodi ex wife and Sita White.

Make personal remarks all you want, but at least don't pretend to be liberal, secular and progressive.....secular MQM and PPP molvies put JUIF mullahs on shame who have stopped the yahoodi BS since quite a while.

Isn't typical MQM logic. Imran says to Altaf Hussain, you have laundered nation's money and killed innocent people, and MQM molvis says yes but you slept with a pretty blond woman in your youth, you are a bigger jahanumi for this, insult to humanity & danger to Pakistan?

Which one is a personal attack and which one is politics on national issues?

When IK was in England, he was a student, then cricketer and then a committed county player. If IK had spent 35 years in England, I wonder who played cricket for Pakistan on his behalf?

Sometimes I do love engaging with pro MQM arguments.

On final remarks: How can PTI organise and campaign in a city where only a year ago Imran Khan needed "permission" from MQM to hold a rally? Karachi is not Lahore that it would keep your party alive for 17 years despite no power and popularity for sake of an ideology. Why should local Karachi people come forward to join your party, offer leadership and campaign when they know you have no real chance of winning? Why? What incentives do they have for joining you? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

You want to have bunch of burger bachas of Clifton to go around saying violence and criminality is a bad thing, and people will say yes? You are neither a religious party or a victimised ethnic group, then how can you ever evoke a passionate ideological support in a city like Karachi without these factors? Non-violence is also an ideology - how much of a support this ideology has in Karachi considering the city has been battlefield for so long?

PPP at the peak of truly practically national party days and force of a strong ideology/organisation/money/power/leadership could not challenge MQM in Karachi. So who the hell are you? I actually admire PPP for being honest and saying, sorry Karachi has some serious ethnic and lingual divides, forgive us for not going beyond Liyari. After dharna, Imran needs to realise he only hurts himself by painting extremely optimistic, idealistic, full of hope, full of success, full of common sense scenarios where good is good and bad is bad.

The option for PTI is to actually stay well away from Karachi/Sindh, but if they really want to make a second entry in Karachi - they might only be able to do it if they raise the slogan of Karachi being turned into a separate province. This is the only way to evoke a serious support and appeal to the collective victim complex which they had failed to capture.

You will definitely lose support of rural Sindh, but its up to PTI to decide which part of Sindh they'd like to penetrate. You cannot stay in the middle and hope to get the best of both worlds.

That would not be a good stance.

In any case, one thing parties should stop talking about is why MQM a bad choice. Pick us because MQM is bad is a stale argument and it is not going to work. Tell people independently what you can do. Can you take care of quota system, can you build more colleges, can you help Karachi become a financial hub like Dubai and Mumbai? Can you promise more Jobs? And more importantly do you have a solid plan for that, or just empty words? Trying to win brownie points by sugar coating Karchiites (like you yourself said) is not going to work either.

If I want my kids to be secure, am I going elect Mohallay ka Dada as my chowkidar, or a weak police officer? That is what is happening in Karachi. You keep challenging their choice of selecting MQM with the hope that they will pick you instead, is pure immaturity.

Pti wiped out from pindi also where they won big last elections. The way things are going, Pmln will easily win the next elections. The situation for PPP and Pti is so dire now that there are talks of an alliance between the two parties. All talk and no walk has landed Pti to where it is now. Lies and more lies have exposed the party and imran's politics. Pindi has got a metro like it or hate it, same is the case with multan. What could Pti or PPP given those people?

People are free to vote for who ever in the elections, but mqm is the major reason why Karachi is not in the league of Dubai or Singapore. In the 70's and early 80's, Karachi was way ahead of Dubai. Then came ethnic based politics, bhatta Koori, target killing and here we have people migrating to other parts of the country due to the law and order situation of the metropolis.

This would continue rather intensify and PTI would be loosing ground to the so-called traditional parties ( or better planning and strategies to win elections).. The dhandli mantra have become a joke and the Change PTI bragged and sold is drowned in the ocean of blunders commited by IK/PTI...

Still all is not lost, PTI can bounce back, the same Change slogan can be sold again...but then one need to have right set of people who were/are face of changes....but if you are waiting for umpire to raise finger and/or have Tareen ans Aleem khan instead of Justice Wajihudin with you, then the change would be laughed upon....

Ok. I did it again...and shall be abused...

Btw after Lahore and other cities, Karachi also proved to be city of Jahils by not voting for PTI...and then IK wonder why PTI didnt get any votes...

Last not least...point PTI should notice is, IK himself ran the campaign and yet lost all...

PPP has not managed more than 2 seats from any district of Punjab contested yesterday, except rajanpur where they got 84. One can easily see where the party is headed. South Punjab until recently used to be the party's stronghold after Sindh.

Punjab put a different show where independents have significant strength, to me this mean that people are not that happy with ruling elite and there is room for new party or a party who can actually represent them...un like PMLN or PPP or PTI

It is not so , Establishment & than their puppet Taliban & media played a vital role against PPP . AAZ & RM were actually never a politician and were running PPP afairs in very poor way .
Now we can hope under young leadership PPP can come back easily because PTI faild to do something

people who were not happy with Pmln didn't vote for Pti and PPP either. This should ring bells to the concerned.
PPP got 84 seats in rahimyar khan instead of rajanpur as I mentioned in the previous post.

PPP will have to cry Taliban for the next decade at least as the party is declining with each passing day. Where are the Taliban now? As far as establishment is concerned they couldn't stop PPP and mqm in Sindh and stopped them in Punjab? Lame excuses but no one buys them anymore. The way independents have been winning should open some eyes.

exactly. jitna support PTI ko Punjab wale dharno aur jalson main karte hain. itna Halla Gulla to Karachi walon ne bhi kia tha last Saturday. They even danced on songs in presence of Mullas (JI). Wo to rung main bhang Khud Khansaheb ne daali jo Mazar e Quaid tak public ka sath na nibha sake… aur ab Ghussa Karachi ki awaam per :hmmm:

If for a.moment you pay attention on the performance of PPP during its last tenure. Where as a result Firdous Aashique Awan had to contest LB elections as an independent because PPP actually choked the industry and the business and the poor...

Pay attention on real reasons and not hide behind establishment and ethnic blame game...which PTI is doing only they have Dhandli mantra...
