i would suggest to held yr mehndi at lawn .. for jahez dresses go to tariq road, there are so many boutiques and local shops there .. it will be easy for you to pick different variety of outfits from same place as you dont have much time left… will you be staying in karachi after wedding ??

Thanks, can yousuggest a reasonable boutique in karachi?Again, any ideas about packing jahaiz gifts, where to find boxes and ring carriers n trays?And, is Avari towers banquet hall better or poolside lawn!! Please help!!I will be staying in Karachi for abt 15 days after wedding.

Thanks, I’m just so worried to take the risk, I heard she does brown makeup and does not listen to what the bride says. I don’t want to look dark since my dress is white, and my husband to be is also fair. Can anybody tell me if there is a salon where they do consulting first, like tell you how they would do the makeup on Ur particular dress? :SAnybody tried AMNA salon in karachi?

for boxes and baskets u may try saeed ghani and saddar behind zaib un nisa street.. i personaly like their banquet hall more than pool side lawn .. rest its your choice.. For dresses go to jabeens at tariq road, makkah at rabi center. mohsins at saima centre on tariq road also have some awesome ready to wear collection.. u will find their other boutiques as well. if u get time check bahadurabad boutiques as well but since you will be leaving khi and you will not live here after wedding dont buy too many outfits…

i think tht saba and qadir from sabs and ghazia from allenora are good for light pastel makeup.

i just had my nikah done and i went to fabiolla in north nazimabad, i was satisfied with the makeup though its all luck :slight_smile:

Im confused btw bina khan and sabs for bridal makeup, going for a simple glowy look so what would you all recommend? Im not in khi atm so I cant head over to the salons to check out the portfolios either :frowning: plz advise!!

I did..for barat. Her brides looked least geisha/pastry out of the lot. Will try Nabilas for valima IA. I checked those threads buy need a female photographer…any suggestions? I found this really good one called Mejays but theyr booked on my dates :frowning:
