Since I live in states, I searched for bridal outfits online for designs. There was one that I really liked, so I sent its picture to my khala in Karachi, and she is getting it made from some shop called PLK. She said their work is similar to Jabeens. My brother is also getting married, so we are having my bhabi's outfit made from Jabeens. each is costing around 80,000 -85,000 rps.
For the venues we got Jade hall, Casamento, and Hill Top.
For Salons, we are still not sure! I live out of Pakistan, so I cant really visit the salons. I will be going to karachi a week before my wedding so teh tiem will be short to book salon at that time. So basically I have to depend on online pictures! However, most of the pistures on websites are airbrushed and not a true portrayal of what the brides look like in real.
A friend of mine recommended Allenora for baraat, but their makeup is tooo red and aunty like. Though I want a bit darker makeup for Baraat, their's is too much!
I liked Sabs, however, I noticed that they put black eye shadow on every bride for baraat. I wish they would use some gold as well! Also I heard that Sabs has different artists ( saba, Sonia, Qadir) and conflicting reviews on which one is better,
So who did you go to for baraat/ Walima, and who do you recommend? Please help out guys! Any recommendation in this matter will be highly appreciated! Post some pictures if you can. Pictures of just the eyes will be helpful too, as the eye makeup contributes a lot to the whole look.
Also, which MUA do face contouring?
