Not only that I hate his keeping and batting, I also hate his shabaashing to Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanish. It just freaks me out, Im like destroying my monitor. I mean take an example of Moin, the guy always encouraged the bowlers and fielders but in a decent way. THis guy is chamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar.

What a typically Pakistani move bringing this guy onto the team. We need batting more than anything else on this tour. The man can’t bat in Pakistan and you expected him to play well here. 
Absolutely brutal pick, especially bringing him as the sole keeper.
The upside is after he thoroughly embarrasses himself on this tour, we probably will never see him on the team again.

Absolutely but this is the best we've got. You work with what you've got. As important as batting is, it is secondary to keeping. Find a keeper who can keep as well and bat better, then drop Akmal by all means.

That was a very difficult chance mate. Again, you need to come down to earth. This is the best we've got. We need to rid ourselves of the illusion that we have heaps of talent. We don't . As sweet as those days were, they're gone now. Better wake up to reality as soon as possible.

I have to admit, atleast he was playing his shots. His technique is still pretty faulty though. Oh well, the shmuck is in the team for a long time now; made me take back my statement.

Umm That is unfair armughal bhai, dont you think? I mean give credit when its due. It could have been a fluke had it scratched around and played a limited number of strokes but his century was scored all over the wicket with a wide array of strokes. It means he can play but lets see if he can keep up with the performances.

I will quit watching cricket if his weak a$$ scores more then 20 in Pak's next game against Australia....This was a fluke of an epic proportion....And lets not all be that surprised, after all it was against the Windies.....

Comeon guys, he played a good innings, may be an innings of his lifetime, but give some credit. How many chances he got during his 124? How many times was he dropped?
May he improve his game and cement his place !
