Judgemental muslims

So I iknow Hyderabadi’s (Indian) who think that Pakistani muslims aren’t “religious” enough or as pious as them and I know Pakistanis who don’t think Arab muslims are pious enough.

What’s the deal here? since when have we become so judgemental about people’s iman?

Re: Judgemental muslims

The day Prophet (PBUH) died and sect starting to become with fights for the ultimate thorn of guiding the *"bhatke howe muslims" ... * .... from that day !

Re: Judgemental muslims

We are judgemental about everything and not only about Iman.

Re: Judgemental muslims

I guess you’re right, both of you above, :hmmm:

Yes ladies are .. not us :snooty:

Re: Judgemental muslims

The perception of Indian Muslims is based on Pakistani TV. Our TV is doing a good job of presenting that kind of image of Pakistanis .
Now to the Arab , quite the contrary we think that since they know Arabic so they understand and follow religion better than anybody else. No ?

Are you being judgemental? :stuck_out_tongue:

Its common sense :p

Re: Judgemental muslims

I have heard a lot of pakistani muslims in U.S being judgmental about Irani Americans but not Arabs, Acc to them they left Iran b/c they dont want to follow the strict Islamic laws of Iran Govt.????????????????????????

Re: Judgemental muslims

best muslims are the muslims from atlantis. :snooty:

that’s why they were buried alive, … indeed.. great theory !

Re: Judgemental muslims

Its not a good to judge anyone

However, judging others is not limited to muslims.

Some of these judgement are true...but we cant do anything about it so we shouldn't voice it, even if we think so.

After all there are some that are more practicing than others - simply put.

Re: Judgemental muslims

Well niksik! infact its our own fault, moreover! brainwashing of indian muslims had also done the job very well for hindus.

today we can see that not only indian muslims but pakistani muslims are also been involved in immoral activitiz and their ideals are today shamefully saying only shahrukh khan, salman khan or they like indian and english moviz and other vulgar material.

no one is concentrating on the fact that everyone has in the end to be answerable to Allah for his/her own deeds and thats why they are also talking against pakistani muslims by ignoring the fact that we and they both are muslims and the country in which they live is not a muslim country, but a secular or indian hindu state.

so thats the matter

Re: Judgemental muslims

but one factor which we can see and observe is that the muslims living in india are more loyal to their country as compared to Pakistanis who just keep on messing up and destroying their own motherland and bros and sisters.

thats the difference!

Moreover, hindus had injected certain type of culture which is a mixture of hypocritism, vulgarity and to some extent acceptance to any propaganda against Islam in their moviz.

when a muslim will not wakeup and learn real Islam himself then such things will remain happening which are very shameful facts for us muslims!

:(

Re: Judgemental muslims

Nik,

Judging is a part of human nature. Some people are worse about it than others. If you think about it, we judge all the time.

We judge what school is good for our children, what house fits our needs, what car is more practical, what job is more beneficial, which shirt is the better buy, what saalun should be cooked today, what people would make better company, what people to avoid. See what I mean?

Insecurity is also a part of human nature. Sometimes we judge others so that we can feel better about ourselves. For example, we may feel bad about not praying 5 times a day. But we feel so much better pointing out that another fellow Muslim drinks alcohol is much worse than us.....cuz we feel better about our own shortcomings.

Being overly-consumed with judging others.....you will stop growing as an individual. And that's scary. Most people in this world are neither 100% good nor 100% bad. They're a mixture of both...an imperfection...with the potential of doing positive things.

Re: Judgemental muslims

nothing wrong with being judgemental. what pisses me off is people who think they cant be wrong in their judgements.

Re: Judgemental muslims

okay i'm jumping in here to pass judgement...let's see what u all r gonna do

i think Pakistani muslims GUYS are two faced. At home they want to be Muslim. Outside they are all "haram".

I think Indian muslims guys and girls are not praying 5 times, but they keep themselves in the "safe" zone.... meaning no alcohol and firang ladkis ladkes

I use to believe Arabs were the most religious, just because they ALL cover up a lot.

... but then I learned "covering" up sometimes is to avoid "dressing" up - meaning not doing hair, like washing and combing, wearing clean clothes, etc. A long burkha on your way out makes you "look" decent but that does not mean you are clean on the inside - eeewww

At one point in my life I did not know the difference between Pakistani muslims and Muslims from India. I thought they were both same because of same "urdu" language.

ya ya i have passed judgements too... and each time they were WRONG - once i learned the "actual" them... so now i have stopped passing judgement, and look out for how i can better myself only. :)

Re: Judgemental muslims

What a coincidence, perhaps not (it may be their nature, oops i'm judging them)!

I had been in a loooong argument on the same subject by a couple of my colleagues, who also happen to be from Indian Hyderabad. :)
They insisted that pakistanis are not good muslims as compared to other nations especially indians. Also Pakistanis get attracted to alcohal, jhatka more often than the rest of muslim originates.

Re: Judgemental muslims

atlantis was buried long before islam came.
notice i stated “from” atlantis and not “in” atlantic :snooty:
