I am the biggest looser of all. in 3 months of time i lost 2.5 kilos and gained it back all. whenever i think of doing dieting and controlling my portions size i get so hungry and keep munching all day. i cant control my craving for sweets. well now i starting again from point zero and i also want to try this 30-days shred (after seeing impressive figures my khawateen). i downloded level 1 part 1 but cant find rest of the parts, does anyone has link to those vids.
you ahve to remain consistent... otherwise its no use :) and self control... practice it... light on the lips, heavy on the hips... just htink of it like this.. i worked like a dog to lose that 1 pound.. do i really want to gain it back and let my hard work go to waste? that shoudl help :)
Today I did it early in the morn so I can go about my day without feeling guilty or bad... It is done and over with. I did mix it up with 5lb weight for dumbbell rows and the side lunges and chest flys. Rest 2lb weights were used...my legs are killing me... I guess that is what happens when you take rest days... promised myself that I would go shopping after doing this for 8 days continuously.... my abs are killing me...I still can't do bicycle crunches... can't make myself go up and move my legs at the same time...so am just doing bicycle movements with the legs....there is a pooch there that I don't dig...

Jr. enjoyed seeing his mother grunting and screaming today.... I refused to stop in the middle to pick him up and he ended up falling asleep ...he was being fussy coz he likes being picked up before dozing off.... Today it was tough... I am soooo sore in my legs.. I can still climb stairs and sit on the toilet seat without screaming in pain....but I am sore..I wanted to quit halfway today but pushed myself telling myself that if I quit I would end up back to square one...
I need to shopping for some essentials and I am not gonna do that if I don't do all the days till day 15 so that is a very big motivation. I need it and will only allow myself to get it if I do the next 7 days consistently.... hows that for motivation....still mixing up the weights... can't wait to see a change in my body structure...I have so many clothes that I am dying to wear...
I think day 3 was the hardest day. I was so sore and so tired, I had trouble finishing each set. Day 4 was much easier. Still a workout, but I felt energized rather than exhausted.
I didn’t do my inches before, so I checked today. Hopefully this will change soon!

yes thats one problem with me i am not consistent. anyway i am trying it again now . will see where can i find dvd, actually i recenlty moved to Doha so have to look around for it.but u really doing a good job and u motivated many of us , thanks.

day 2 was hell and so was day 3… for the arms… and then i warmed up wrong for the legs and messed up teh knees so day 4 and 5 were hard to even sit on the toilet seat!
but it does get better.. by day 5 .. you shouldnt feel anything.

I really should change this to Day 3.... my advice to all those who are just starting don't take a break in between coz I was doing that thinking my body is gonna adapt and change at the same time..No it doesn't do that...and I feel like I am starting from scratch. Today even my rear was hurting...
I had the worst kind of skin allergy...still can't figure out to what but I promised myself no excuses and that means no excuses...
Gonna try and hang in there for another 6-7 more days... and then will reward myself with some much needed essentials... inshAllah...
Does anyone have JM's banish fat boost metabolism... I wanna try and do that maybe twice a week...there are layers of fat that I wanna get rid of and I don't shred alone is gonna cut it...anyone else in the same boat as me????
^is that the one for abs? I want to try something for abs.. .. I am okay weight wise so I feel like I need to do more exercise for being toned than losing weight!!!
no GTG ...the one you are talking about is called No more trouble zones... that one tones and tones and then tones some more (at least from the reviews). The one I am talking about takes off fat...is mostly cardio circuits... we both could get started on those too...let me know and we can keep each other motivated... I need to lose pounds.....before the muscles are gonna shine through...
automne... dont add anymore than the shred for the tiem being.. build your stamina ... get the time... and then add to it... having too much to do will overwhelm you and then you wont wanna do any of it....
if you wanna lose the fat first, why not do the lose pounds faster dvd and then come to the shred?
i didnt care... i have fat too.. fat fat tummy! i just went ahead with the shred... and its working.. if its working for me.. it HAS to for you too!
after 2 weeks.. i have added additional ab excercises from JM'S ab work out... i tried to do it when i started the shred but i felt like it was too much and found myself not wanting to do any of it cuz it felt like a lot...
so dont worry too much bout the fat... just focus on building up stamina (which will only happen if you dont miss days.. get past the soreness), and then add more if you want.
it WILL HAPPEN... just wait and watch!

you are right khawa... I just got to the point of doing Shred daily I really shouldn't load up my plate too much... I think i'll follow your lead and add additional things after this becomes a habit... about two weeks or so into it...

I got so motivated by everyone here trying to get in a good shape that I too started the 30 day shred yesterday. and although it was ONLY 20 mins but these were the longest :P
OMG when i started off i was already panting in the first 5 minutes, but i felt happy when it ended but my legs and arms are really sore , but well i feel good and hoping that it helps me lose some weight too like others InshALLAH ...
Today is the second day so i am off for a meeting with JM:)
Oh my God... I thought I was not gonna feel anything...but i'm still soooo sore... and today I had to really really push myself to do it...coz I didn't feel like doing it at all... I just hope I see results soon...coz the scale isn't budging..and my clothes are still the same...this better give me results..or I'm gonna cry like a baby...
