I know a lot of us fattypuffs have or are wanting to start this work out

a couple of girls gave me the idea to start a thread in fitness .. to motivate the ones that are wanting to start and those that have but each day is a struggle.

we shall all come together to shed those pounds and give each other support and comfort.. for the good days and the bad.

its a great work out prog for those that are wanting to shed a few pounds, to those new moms who want to get rid of the flab before they pile some more on with a 2nd pregnancy, and just generally for those that wanna go from being burgers to seekh kebabs. its for all!

just spare 20 mins.. that is all it takes girls (and that rare man that is reading this)… 20 MINS.. thats it! you dont havta go anywhere.. you dont havta even have training clothes.. heck even a bra and shalwar works… i was laffing whilst working out cuz i was even wearing mu bangles haha…
so really… thats all it requires… putting in a dvd and having some room to move around.. nothing else! hell dont even buy lightweights.. use canned food if you want!

my husband did it with me today and even he was panting.. so its not just for the dainty women.. she WORKS you out!

its amazing. today was my day 2… so im still a beginner… come join me and lets lose weight together .. not to mention become hawties! the sexy lingerie and the fitted shalwar kameez’ await.. no more back boobs and duck like butts.

she has a few dvds out and books too.. this particular thread is for her 30 day shred dvd that can be bought online, or from any dvd store.. and erm… ahem… dwded too (i didnt say that :o ) … for those of us that need proof.. you can youtube her too.. some ppl have put up week by week vids of their results.. its amazing!

my day 1 went something like this .. taken out of my blog:

who knew 20 mins would kill you with j.michaels.. oh my god i am dying!

i am THAT outta shape that her warm up tired me out.. my arms want to drop off and my legs probably have! those were the longes 20 mins of my life! i didnt even use the lightweights! oh ... oh man... i had to pause teh dvd after every set of excersize and catch my breath.. and honestly.. kids can jump up and down as if they dont exist.. i felt like the earth was shaking when i was doing them.. oh my god are jumping jacks really that hard!

for the first time in my life i was lookin fwd to the ab crunches.. atleast i was lying down haha...

its a brilliant way she has put the excersizes together... tiring and then easy.. tiring and then easy... each level has cardio, strength and abs.. its great

today was day 2

i woke up and my chest felt like a brick and my arms heavy.. i couldnt even lift them! my legs were shaking but not as bad as my upper body... the push ups did it for me!

i didnt think i would work out today and my husband thought you are meant to give yourself a break every other day.. but JM farma thi hain that you are meant to push yourself and do it everyday with no break.. thats the only way a 20 min work out will for you ...

so i didnt think twice and put on the dvd and just ploughed my way through.. yesterday what had seemed easy , today i was dying.. i didnt even do the push up stage.. just couldnt... i did the rest of it.. but would end earlier than the trainers on the dvd.. doesnt matter.. as long as i huffed and puffed.. . oh and i was more sweaty today than i was yesterday.. must be working.. must be!

very proud of myself...

and darn i still need to measure myself and weigh too!

so day 2 was definately tough... but bearable... i think im gonna do level one for a week and then move upto level 2.. i think.. lets see how it goes...

be back morrow with day 3.. if i can wake up that is!

i just downloaded it .......n man ....she wears u off...................i was trying to catch my breath all the time .....but one look at her toned body motivates u to do it .........................n not just this ......all her exercise are awesome .........she makes u work both upper n lower body .....which is a total body workout n u burn lots of calories ........................i did her ripped abs workout ...................n i got awesome results :)....................ill look for the vdo n post it in here ......:)

Ok im gonna start again from monday! Have to get past the sore-ness. Maybe i'll just do the cardio part for now and then later on add the muscle training?!

zara. i think im gonna couple that vid with my shred but when im gotten past the soreness and built up some stamina... right now.. even the warm up is tiring! thanks for posting that... and great to hear you saw results too! congrats!

shinoo: one thing i noticed post delivery.... since i was anaemic.. i didnt have a lot of energy to burn faltu mein... i can honestly say i was in my 6th month post delivery that i felt ok.. im alive. before that... even walking would wear me down... i started taking my multi vits and that helped heaps! so i would really suggest getting your iron up before taking up strength training (IF you still have anaemia issues that is).. thats where you get your oxygen from... and the cardio part IS the hard part :D but if you can do it.. yayyyyy you! maybe even do little bits here and there.. and not all of it?

drink lots of water while doing .....ull not b tired after that ....n gives u a type of energy ..............n remember to do the cooling at the end ....it helps with the sorenesss..........

oh no no... i would really suggest to NOT drink any water... she says not to as well..

i made myself nauseous when i did that yesterday.. and another friend of mine also said it bloated her so bad she couldnt continue the excersise at all :o

ohh.....it depends on person to person i guess................coz i couldnt do without water...................my mouth was literally dried out after doing it ..............so had to gulp down some water..................

i think so… i can normally work out fine whilst taking a sip of water now and then.. but with JM i couldnt :hoonh:

so how much have you lost… put up some numbers to further motivate ppl to start! and for me to keep going :smiley:

with this 30 days shred n her abs workout plus doing jumping jacks in the morning when i woke up plus a healthy diet.....i lost 8 kgs in a month ................u really see an improvement in the few weeks ....when with healthy eating habits .....n cutting down sugar ....ull see a difference in week ................if u r really working hard to lose some flab .........................n determined ....ull see results fast ............u wouldnt be disappointed at the end of the day ............and as she says ...........i got ripped abs :)

so now my weight is 48 ...before it was 67...................and my waist is 24 1/2......which was 30 :D..............
ppl plz have pateince ....as everybody body are different in mass and structure ....some lose fat fast n some doesnt .................but dont let this stop from working out ...............ull get results .........i promise u that :)
