I meant Insanity but just to clarify Insanity didn't actually cause any new injuries, just aggravated the old ones.

With Jillian I have hurt my back, knee, elbow etc but it always gets better with a few days rest. Only thing didn't get better is my elbow but I have only myself to blame for that since I switched to much heavier dumbbells than I was comfortable with.

day 2 of level 1… it was better than yesterday. I decided I should prolly wear some shoes this time :blush:

I hate the start jumps and the skipping rope type of jump.. uffness to the max. Otherwise all good :k:

I'm on this bandwagon too but afraid very afraid. I started last week but had to take a break coz I couldn't sit or pick up my kids. Not fun.
Did a day , then stopped and now started again. Today was day 2 level 1 for me. I am trying to do it early morn when kids are in bed. Someone pls keep pushing me so I do this.
I'm so out of shape its not even funny.

Sadzzz. U r doing great!!! Keep at it.... I hate the jumping jacks too.

Auto: unless its a sharp shooting pain... U r good to go... U have to work through the soreness...verna it wont get better.... Trust me man.

Im sorry....but its not gonna get better with off days unless u r in pain...in which case this is not for u.... As for the soreness...that means its working...

**good good fun.... But dont know whats goin on... Im bot sweating as much... I wonder why sweat used to drench me the last time i did this dvd... Now.. Not so much.... I think im in a better shape than i was before..... Im gonna do this for the last 10 days and then look into something else.

No further weight loss so far...but hey 2 dress sizes is good enough!

i dnt sweat much either but then i never have so i dnt base my workout on how much i sweat.

I'm on day 4 level 1, the lunges still.are hard. I can't believe how out of shape I am. I eat good during the week (relatively) but come weekend and its eating out or qormas and biryanis. I don't know how to stop myself.

Last day today! feeling a bit lost, gonna miss Jillian! but onto insanity tomorrow. I dropped about 2 dress sizes or 1 and a half to be more precise..Lost around 7lbs, Doesn't seem like a lot but I look like a different person!

Dont give up girls. Trust me if someone like me can actually do something like this, there is hope for everyone!

auto: whenever u eat all that stuff... remember how hard it is to work out to lose it all. .... also... if u must.. have like half roti and more salan and boti. that way u fill up .. have the yummy salan... and still not gain much.

day 2 and 3 and 4 and 5.............. *damned enter key not working. *its going good... ive lost another inch off of my waist.... level 3 did it! yeehaw. but im still a size 12 cuz the chest measurements need to budge! glad still..... 5 more days and then i decide what i do to continue my training. **

I'm on day 14 right now. After day 10 I had lost 5 pounds, 2 inches off my waist and .5 inches off each of my thighs and arms. Level 2 is definitely a killer and I DREAD the walk out push ups but I'm getting better at them. I definitely notice my tummy and thighs tightening up. I was kind of always hovering between two sizes but now I'm definitely down a size so I'm happy.

I will say this though, the 30 day shred has made me work, sweat and tone more in the 30 minute video than the 40 minutes I spent everyday on my elliptical. I do substitute the 2 minute cardio intervals with the elliptical because it's too high impact for me and I'd end up with inflamed knees and ankles at the end.

16 more days!!

I quit for 2 days coz my knees were killing me. I have to do everything for 2 kids and it was not worth the pain. I'm gonna start it up again but going to substitute jumping jacks with something else. And see if that makes a difference if not lunges need to go too
