DAY 3 of 30

Ok so my thighs were killing me today, I couldnt sit or stand without pain in my thighs BUT I still did my workout! Again it wasnt perfect I had to stop to catch my breath several times IA it will get better with time as i lose weight and develop stamina.

THANKS PRINCESS for ur advice, I shall try barefoot tomorrow :D

I have taken a BEFORE pic of myself. M thinkin I should take measurements too! And r u guys dieting along with jillian? If so what kind? And m thinkin I should order Ripped in 30 so that I can start it asap after 30 day shred.

Day 1/ Level 1:

omg, I felt like I was going to puke! But I managed to do it with 3lb weights. The jumping jacks were ok, it’s the push-ups I can’t do!!!

I did have to stop an catch my breath a few times but I stick through. I’m sure I’m going to be sore as hell tomorrow :grumpy:

HRM said i burned about 200 calories

You need good trainers for all the jumping and squats. Her exercise is very hard on the knees anyways.

My knees kill, but ive had arthiritis for last few years so im in constant pain anyway, if I wear trainers I get a odd cramp in my foot so I prefer bare feet

Ive found cutting down on carbs really helps, up ur protein intake, meats cheeses and eggs and drink lots of water throughout the day

How did you find level 2? Is it hard or you have got used to exercising regularly now?

i found it much more challenging than level 1 but I enjoy it too. i got very bored of level 1 quite quickly.
i have had to be very cautious with my knees and ankles. i feel level 2 is very hard on the knees

Level 1 Day 2:

wow....after the first day I was aching in places I didn't know existed!!!!

Today was good...I feel like I did much better with the really following through completely with all the reps in each circuit.

man im so proud this thread is still alive...

so im back... 2 yrs later.. to start the shred :D a lot happened when i last finished.. got down to my ideal weight and tone.. in time to plan our baby number 2.. which we had the following yr in sept.. she is mashallah now 17 months. and its HIGH time i started to work out again..

day 1 was yesterday... day 2 today...

just like i first wrote 2 yrs ago... it hurt just as bad. im like a baby dear learning how to walk.. spasms and limbs going all over the place... it hurts to sit down and get up.. any pressure on teh legs .. and im SORE.

BUT... for some reason.. somehow.. it doesnt hurt the same muscles when im working out.. its when im not working out taht it burns and goes sore... so thats a good sign...

day 1 was hell... day 2 was very good.. i didnt havta stop a lot to catch my breath... and i finished all the sets. the scissor ab crunches are tough for me probably cuz its the last excercise... and the cardio.. got i hate jumpin jacks.

all in all... im glad i took it up again.

i need to write down my weight and measurements.. there is nothing like seeing loss in numbers.. dont care bout the weight.. just like the first time.. this time too i am only concerned bout the inches.

oh im doing it barefoot in shalwar and tshirt. thats how i like it. have a yoga mat thought... and no weights yet.. i always add the weights once im not sore anymore.. which is day 4 or 5. 1 kg max.

as for diet.... nothign major.. im not a foodie.. my main body killer are snacks.. gave it all away and wont be buying anymore.. problem solved. other than that.. i dont eat a lot.. but make sure i have a salad prepared before i work out cuz after the work out.. im bhooki as hell. salad helps...

i dont count my calories honestly... nor do i deprive myself of the sad lil cookie wanting to be in my belly.

lets see how fast i lose this time... lost very fast the first time around... im 2 yrs older now though.. and 2 body has been through 2 pregnancies...

i did day 1 few days back and did not do day 2 due to body pain i was having severe pain in lower belly :(

Bella.... Tats normal...you are meant to work through the soreness so that the body gets used to it.... I had to really will muself to do day 2 and im glad i did cuz day 3 was a bit better.... No off days allowed.. Cuz whenever u take it up again...ure body will get sore again.. It will keep on going until u stay continous and do it daily... I promise u...by day 5 the pain is gone. Trust me!

**i was a bit more breathless today at the end of cardio... Let a few of the seconds waste cuz i just had to catch my breath. Otherwise.... Really worked theough the pain and im glad cuz it dorsnt hurt as bad as it did yesterday when sitting or bending with the legs.... Going to the loo is gettingbetter too :D

Bring on day 4!!!

And darn i still need to jot down the measurements.... Its my number 1 motivation ...seeing the numbers drop.

Seeing your numbers drop was my motivation to start too khawateen but mine is way slower than yours. I stopped measuring now. Will do it at the end. Dnt want to get disheartened now.

Awww.... Thats the spirit.... After the shred.... If u dont ink it helped u that much.... Go for her ripped dvd.... I have a friend that didnt lose much with the shred... But with ripped she is lost the same i lost with the shred...

Also... Like i said earlier.. Circumstances r diff too person to person... I never get to sit down... Before... my mil had cancer ..i had a toddler and my sil was visiting who also had a toddler...plus guests... .

Now i have 2 kids... And no chance of sitting down still hehe... So im burning even if im not working out.

Uou will see results inshallah.... Keep going...you are doing awesomely
