OMG, I suck and didnt start when I said I would. Boo! I PROMISE I will aaj, they say starting really is the hardest part and that is 100% true. I used to do intense 60 min cardio and lost over 22 lb. and then gained it back once I stopped. URGH! Will be starting today!
Just did Level 2 Day One! OMG :/ Level One was nothing compared to this. And the exercises in Level 2 are kinda weird. Like those walking pushups for instance. :/ After doing this workout, I've just realized how inflexible I am.
Update: I thought I'd update you guys midway my exercise >.< I was at 12 minutes and then had to take a break b/c I started feeling nauseous, probably b/c I ate breakfast about 45-60 minutes ago and started with using 5lb. weights instead of canned food. I thought I had quite good stamina b/c I'm used to doing INTENSE hardcore 60 minute cardio but wow, I got worked up in the first 12 minutes. This is a bada*s workout, seriously. Takes a lot of willpower but the fact that it is 20 minutes of to-the-point cardio makes it a lot more tolerable. esp. since a LOT of people reduced their size if not weight also.
Congrats to everyone who finished the levels and are moving up! And did everyone use weights/dumbbells or the first few times you guys did without?
Marmalade i'm so inflexible too :(
M - i havent used dumbells/weights at all throughout but i think i should start? i just don't wanna get muscle's on arms lol

Don't worry guys, yiu'll start feeling more flexible towards the 10th-15th day of doing 5-10 minute stretching at the end of a workout. When I started working out, not 30DS, I could barely poke my toes while sitting down and having my leg stretched out and towards the 10-12 day, I could grab my entire foot. All I did was after my cardio workout (60 min) I would stretch while on the ground and hold each position for 30 seconds. I usually did this while listening to a 3-4 minute song so i didnt even feel it.
As for weights, women dont bulk up like men, I used to be deathly afraid of that too but using 2lb-5lb is great, esp for gaining lean muscle. You can only get ripped or get bulky muscles if you work on it, as in by lowering your fat percentage, increasing muscle mass and then working on strength after which causes them to increase. So dont worry about that, you wont bulk up!
