khawa i am sooo proud of you! Amazing work. Did you also restrict your diet along with the workout? Sorry i couldnt keep up with you. But i have started it again with my husband this time, to motivate me. So on days i feel lazy, he kicks my butt and makes me do it.

We started on the weekend, and it was day 1 and 2 for us. Mannn day, i thought i was going to die within the first 7 mins. I kept saying how evil she was. Day 2 was a bit better. I thik i need to start wearing my shoes though since i had shin splints today.

Lets see how day 3 goes today.

So it was day 3 for us today. Mann this woman kills you! Alhamd i was much much much better than day 1 but some spots were still super hard. I am hoping to stick it out for a month like khawa and see what happens. I hope i can fix my diet too.

Day 4 was so much better than day 1. I still have trouble finishing up some sets but i think i am doing pretty good Alhamd. The only thing is the shin splints. Mannn they kill. I need to start wearing my sneakers while working out.

Day 5: shin splints and sore thighs were much better. I wore my shoes to workout today and it felt sooooooo much better, didnt hurt my legs as much. For some reason i kept getting out of breath alot but it was all good. I can see me getting better at doing this, although pushups still kill man. And i am still doing the girly pushups (easy method on knees).

i didnt restrict my diet all that much... i DO stay on my feet the whole day.. and i dont lie.. literally.. im standing the whole day cuz of the situation at home and 2 toddlers taht are hell bent on kiling each other.. so i think that helped a bit too... but otherwise.. i ate in human portions.. not bhookay billi kind :D rice.. roti... a cookie here and there... i did cut out all sugary stuff... otherwise i was in love with jelly teddies ...

push ups .. i never tried the male kind.. i only do the female kind.... some stuff i do advanced some i do the beginners way.... i never got around to running.. its so sad.. but we are getting snowstorms one after the other so i dont wanna slip and break my hip :D

keep it up! following your updates everdyay even if i don comment...

oh and i used to work out on top of a foam play mat of the midget's :D shoes make me warm ... i hated it!

Okay so day 1.. dear god. ..

Got my mum n 2 sisters to do it with me for the motivation.. First 10 mins.. thought i ws gonna die.. soooo tires u out.. who thought jumping jacks could be so hard.. but the last 10 mins were a lot easier.. maybe cos the exercises werent as challenging or perhaps just got used to it.. managed to make it through the 20 mins despite wanting to jus go splat on the ground - had a few like 3 second breaks or something in between the jumping jacks n those other skippy things... but in hindsight wasnt TOO bad for the first day (and someone who never works out) .. and v doable... although saying that i followed the easier one the whole way through..

anyway hope i can be consistent in the workout - thanks khawa.. proper motivated me cos normally am so so inactive :D

haha... it gest much easier..... i was exactly like you... you dont have to do the advance level if you cant.. its nto gonna make a diff in a major way...

by the time i was on level 3... i wasnt breaking out in sweat immediately ... in level 1 i was sweating just warming up.. haha... level 2 wqas the sweatiest of levels!

keep it up ok... remmeber.. to see results as she promises.. you have to work out everyday.. EVERYDAY. no ifs or buts. if its taking a lot of motivation, then just promise yourself breaks and less sets than she does.. but DO IT!

where are teh rest of you girlies? so many started but there are no updates... cmon women.

felt proper like dizzy.. that first set of jumping jacks. grh i hate them. I actually had to hold on to the fire place to do the butt kicks or whatever they r called.. seriously that felt so much tougher than yesterday.. probably cos i did it alone this time.. and i am struggling with push ups.. literally cant do them at ALL.. so jus resorted to waving my limbs about in the hope that that would suffice :halo:

butttttt i made it through the 20 minutes.. so 28 more days to go :hinna:

it gets easier.. i promise... i coudlnt do 2 push ups when i started.. now i can do 20. only female ones though... you have to push through... some of the work outs i have to hold onto something .. like the lunges.. cuz i lose balance.

I hadn't done JM in the last 10 months. Started two days ago thinking it would be so hard but to my surprise it didn't seem as challening as I had expected it to be. Wasn't easy by any means and defenitely left me sore, just didn't feel the same impact I had felt when I was new to it.

I wonder if it'll still gonna give me the same results as before??

i think its more about you having been active.. you worked out your body.... a person that has never worked out in their lives and are lazy will exp more discomfort working out than say an active person ... so dont think that it wont help you... but you may need to add to it.. like some more cardio...
the fact taht it does leave you sore.. means its working... as long as its not a walk in the park.. its good.

day 3… yes its getting easier despite the sores and aches it wasnt too bad.. and oh praying :hehe: god knows what i must look like when im praying.
good sign was that today i didnt get out of breath in the warm up unlike the previous 2 days.. so was good.. but yeah i just hope it continues to get easier cos was proper dreading it today after yesterdays session :bummer: and i can kinda do the press ups now.. did like 7 so thats better than 0 i guess

unfortunately my mum gave me a chocolate and i ate it :frowning: but was only the mini size ones but im regretting it now.. otherwise been pretty good foodwise too.
bring on day 4..!

yayyyy sajalina and inzi in the house as well! So we took a day off on the 6th day just because hubs and i went out instead and there was no time to workout after we came back.

day 6 of workout was sooo much easier because we had rested hte day before.

day 7 was even better.

I took another day off today because of a horrible back ache. But i think my tummy is getting a tiny bit flatter and trust me it looks pretty gigantic right now. I havent measured myself but i should. The scale doesnt show any weightloss as of yet but then again, i am not really working on my diet right now. I guess i am taking baby steps for now.

hey hey I am doing it tooo.. but I started with level 2 because I wasnt sore and didn't feel like working out so far I have done 2 days on level 2 and I am loving it.. I sweat buckets during the exercise and I am sore but it makes me happy to have the motivation to lose weight and tone!!!

Ira, I am so glad to have started the shred again. I can already feel a difference after doing it for 3 days and ofcourse been eating healthier too.

I am on day 4 :) day one 20 minutes seems like foreverrrrr. I am getting hang of it now. I am still on level one will switch to level two on day 11 inshallah..
I still suck at the push ups :( i am tring to stick to 1200 calorie diet. no soda and sugary stuff and less carb.
I am getting married in summer inshallah and I MUST lose this flab and the tire :(
