Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
^ and what makes the merit if not loyalty?
in principle I agree with you.....but loyalty does not always mean capability.
you can have someone be loyal to you but lack the skill required to take the team forward......in that case you need to make a decision. (I'm not sure of this is what has happened.....I'm just answering your question.)
I suppose we will all see what happens after the membership drive.
Let's hope and pray for the best.

Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
By the way, that’s the definition of jiyalas ![]()
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
No disrespect intended, but I like to call them Jihalas.
I’m fine with people supporting a party (and I would have gone with a moderately left party too, if they were not complete full of stuff and fluff), but these people defend all the bad work they do with passion. That is when they do any work, at all.
It is a cult, one that worships dead people. And once a government comes in Pakistan that delivers, PPPP along with all the other corrupt parties will disintegrate into nothing. Now when that government comes that delivers, remains to be seen.
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
good point!
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
I personally have no problem with JH or upto some extent with a few Lagharis in the Party... its the Tareen guy , the leader of Sugar Mafia that bothers me , ...with Imran Using his personal Jet Planes , it would be nearly impossible for him to keep out , and that makes this Tareen guy ensuring his Ruthless Plunder with no mercy a continuity , like these ADAPTABLE and Experienced Parasites of Pakistani Politics have been doing since the past 64 years.

In nutshell, a less loyal but more capable person in more suitable for the job?
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
You are either loyal, or you are not. No such thing as less loyal.
FACT.
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
In nutshell, a less loyal but more capable person in more suitable for the job?
whom would you have as CEO of a corporation... a very loyal tech savvy network engineer who has been with the corporation for years but has no management experience or a recently hired guy who has held upper management positions in larger organizations?

argument for argument's sake?
we don't know that he is less loyal.....time will tell.
sometimes you just don't have a choice but to trust someone's word.
in the event that things go awry you can always back-fill.
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
People who are with you through thick and thin are more loyal than someone who is with you only during your good times.
CEO and being a people’s leader are 2 diff things. You dont look for same traits in a people’s leader that you look in a corporate executive
I am not arguing, I am trying to prove the point that loyalty should be the number one trait. Hashmi’s loyalty may require a test of time, but PTI probably has people who have proven their loyalty already. Why to ignore them?
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
Normally I’d agree with you 100%, but my point was not that people are more loyal. They can be, and that’s only because they get a chance to show their loyalty through time (like you said through thick and thin). :k: My point was that while there can be “more loyal”, there is such thing as “less loyal”. Just because someone didn’t get a chance to prove their loyalty, does not mean they are less so.
A “less loyal” person isn’t really loyal at all, and frankly shouldn’t be trusted. In fact, kicked out. These are dangerous people, and like I said not loyal at all. They have this bad spot in their heart that is in fact a very big negative. As for Imran Khan and PTI, those that are joining him and are gathering on a single agenda. If it doesn’t suit them, or serves their sinister purposes, they will leave the party down the road.
Loyalty along with merit should be the main criteria. What do you think PPP/PMLN does?
They reward people based on loyalty, and how long they’ve stuck with the party. Even if they have no/zero/zilch experience in running a particular ministry, or office.
Just because someone is lucky enough to join a party when it was starting out, does not entitle them to the top most posts. If they have merit to go with it, then yes, by all means. But to get out of the way, to reward people just because they’ve had more time to show their loyalty is pretty bad man-management. Besides, like I said, there will be more than enough posts within the party and if PTI forms a government.

I totally agree. As the saying goes, 99% loyalty is 100% disloyalty.
I guess what I am trying to say is that PTI had more 'proven' loyal people in the party. Appointing Hashmi looks more like a political move than anything else.

What kind of moves do you expect from a political party? :S
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
Hashmi has been a respected politician and even his opponents have not criticized his character over the years. apparently, nobody is bothered by loyalty to the family being rewarded…
…**Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was unanimously named president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Punjab chapter …**The older Sharif, Nawaz, is the president of the party and his wife Kalsoom Nawaz looks after PML-N women’s wing. Nawaz and Shahbaz’s half brother Senator Ishaq Dar is the PML-N’s parliamentary leader in the Senate instead of senior leader Raja Zafarul Haq. Nawaz’s son-in-law Captain Safdar has charge of the party’s youth wing while their relative Abid Sher Ali is president of Punjab youth wing. Nawaz’s daughter Maryam looks after the party’s social media network while Shahbaz’s son Hamza is de-facto chief minister of Punjab…
Re: Javed Hashmi made president of PTI
Without Quote
Javed Hashmi was only appreciated for his loyalty with NS
Otherwise everything including family politics ........
SMQ is a product of family politics
Imran can not do family politics other wise he is more dirty than others
You can support him but he is not different than others .
