If Europeans on their own convert to Islam then it is not a cultural invasion but a cultural transformation and there is nothing wrong with that.

I agree that majority of Europe architecture, literature, philisophy is based on christianity but again if they convert to Islam then they are doing it on their own free will.

Where as millions of africans and arabs starting to move to Europe, then its not Europeans converting to islam but rather being replaced with a foreign culture.

DUDE! Your messing around with semantics, Cultural replacement is the same thing as cutural invasion.
Think about this, you logic is a little mixed up…

1. You dont want a cultural invasion of Europe at the hands of foreigners, particularly Muslim foreigners..

2. You dont want this because of your sympathy for the cultural sensitivites of the Europeans.

3. Islam would change the culture of Europe beyond recognition in ways no foreigner could ever accomplish.

4. You seem to forget that just like there are those in Europe who dont want foreigners because they would change their culture and society, there are those who fear Islam would do the same thing.

5. You say its ok for Europe to become Islamic if the Europeans accept it… And you said want this… Meaning YOUU want Europeans to accept Islam… So you are saying that those who fear Islam in Europe are wrong? That those who feel their culture and society will change because of people turning to Islam are wrong to feel this way?

6. So it ok for Europeans to refuse foreigners because, as according to you, this will change their culture, and you dont want this either (remember you said you dont want Muslims turing the most beautiful city in EUROPE into a Ghettp..), yet you do want ISLAM to change their culture and society, and I suppose you think no one in Europe will have a problem with People converting to Islam?

here's my thesis, and actually shared by some highly qualified peace activists. the theory is you bigots have low self-esteem issues! u are not able to make yourself feel good about youself, by just looking atyour own accomplishment. so what you do is, instead of looking at your accomplishments as an individual you start to identify youself with a group and look at the group's accomplishments to make yourself feel good about yourself. so then you can say of well i am proud of myself, not b/c of anything i did (most likely b/c u have not done much!) but then u can say i am proud of myself b/c i belong to this group (lets say for example...i am proud to be Jewish...i say this only b/c i think you are, it can happen to members of any group muslims, hindu's christians ....anyone). so now you are proud to be Jewish, and now u can give your self that pat on the back that you couldnt before, b/c well the Jewish people are very accomplished and b/c u are Jewish....u can feel proud of yourself!

and then ofcourse, b/c ppl like you are not very accomplished or disciplined, you use your group for horrid ends. so we have ppl like Noam Chomsky, and hten there are ppl like you!!! who take credit ..or make themself feel good due to ppl like chomsky's accomplishments, but really dont have half the brain, the wisdom these more accomplished ppl do! n b/c u dont have the wisdom, but have the arrogance, you are bigots! and quite evil....and make the world a f'ed up place!

I think the decline the European birthrate is cyclical.

Anytime a civilization acheives a high standard of living the birth rate declines.

Its not just a European problem.

South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong all have declining birthrates.

What needs to happen is a very good incentive package for women to have more kids.

Russia has already implemented this and this package is working in Australia where the population is growing.

So I think its a matter of the countries adapting to the changes that are happeneing.

I do agree white European poulation is in decline and at a fast rate too, you say it is due to the high standard of living, so according to this logic, over time this trend will also effect the foreign people of Europe too.

I agree, what Europe is doing is self inflicted, the decline in the birth rate is due to the role of women changing, more European women are putting there careers before having a family, this however has nothing to do with letting people in.

I think this book and to some extent mercernary's comments must be evaluated in light of what i am seeing is becoming a fast growing trend amongst ppl of the Jewsih faith => they hate Muslims! A lot of Jewish ppl, even the ones who are somehwat liberal, i am noting are increasingly muslim phobe!

I mean I recall watching the news shortly after 9/11 and I swear almost every day there were Jewsih ppl on TV calling for the annihilation of Muslims, even Howard Stern was like we dont need any evidence, we should just go and blow up Palestine, his words still creep the he*l out of me, he said something like burn thier mothers and kill all thier unborn children, or something like that! I have also noted a lot of plain ol racism amongst the Jewsih ppl, not just hatred for Muslims and rabs, but also for blacks! Don't get me wrong i know quite a few prominent Jewish civil rights advocates who are defending blacks and Muslims, so i am not saying all Jewish people are racist. I am just making an observation that I have noticed and am attempting to understand. Why the rampant bigotry, and why sooo much hate for the Muslim ppl by people of the Jewish faith?

Muslims have not been the ones that harmed the Jewish people, i am not going to say Muslims have nothing but love for them, but still I think of all the faiths out there we are the most alike, and perhaps the most tolerant of Jewish people, as is evident by the Jewish people living in Iran who will not leave, unlike the huge Jewish populations flocking to Israel from Russia. Is that not some evidence, of our ability to live together. Additionally when Jewsih settlers first came to Palestine, Muslims were welcoming, its only later things got bad!
Even within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (which really has been the reason for Muslim Jewsih antogonism, atleast that is why Muslims all over have issues with Jewish people) even within that conflict, more Jewsih people kill Muslims then its the other way around.

So Merc. help me understand why do u love the Europeans who hate you so much that they needed to remove you from thier lands, and you know that the tolerance is only skin deep and that underneath it festers the same hate thats always been there, its just been subdued for the time being, i ask you...why love them, but hate Muslims?

I wonder if it is because our existence is a constant reminder of the blood baths thats led to the creation of the "holy" land? or is it because there is a need to dehumanize us so that they can continue to kill us in Palestine?
I am curious....why?

for the love of christ!!! man!!! Europe and Europeans are not becoming extinct!!!!!! Europe has expanded out of itself onto about 3 other continents, and chunks of the other remaining ones too! so out of the 6 inhabitable continents 4!! yea 4!!!! are european!!! and even where there are not European!!! yea white caucasian christian europeans!! even on the continents that europeans are not physically present..european culture dominates! so practically anywhere you go on the planet, ppl speak english, or if not perhaps french, otherwise Spanish! there are signs in English all over Asian countires, they eat Mcdonalds everywhere!! wear jeans and Tee's everywhere as well!!

i am looking at the demographics HATER!!! and u say little resources! umm.... we have the resources to feed many times the world's population! so its not recources thats the issue...its allocation of those resources! u know where those resources go..tahst right to European continents (its my new terminology - it means - europe and continents that are really extension of europe)!

so its not that the world is running out of food! its more that we are using our farms and natural resources to make shoes for ppl in paris or grow flowers for ppl in London and as Urabn centers grow we keep mis-allocating our resources, instead of feeding our planet!!!
