The World is changing, and Europe will change aswell… Muslims have as much right as anyone else to come to Europe if its legal. Bigotry and xenophobia isnt an excuse for denying Muslims the same right the Europeans extend to so many others.
And if Pakistan ruled over Bangladesh, then yes, the Bangali have every right in the world to live where ever they please. The locals will just have to cope or change.
Europeans have no moral superiority here.. They were the ones who subjected the Muslim world to centuries of imperialist rule… Many of the problems that exist in the Middle East can be traced to their imperialist rule… And for the most part, they didnt leave nicely either. Well Change isn't always good as for Europe to become non-white is among that.
Basically, in the 1900's most Blacks in USA lived in the South. American cities were filled with Eastern European immigrants. By the 1930's Blacks seeking better employment and escaping Southern racism started to move into American Urban cities in the 1930's (Its called the great Black Migration). As blacks settled in major US Cities like New York, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia, they were the most de-segregated group in these cities. Meaning as each ethnic group like the Italians, Irish, Jews had their own neighborhood, blacks were dispersed all over and had no ethnic neighborhood of their own.
The 1930's was a time of the great depression and FDR started the great public works projects to get people working again. They build highways and created new housing on the edge of cities called Suburbs. In order to get people to move into the Suburbs the Federal government told the Banks to give loans to anyone wanting to buy a house and if they default (meaning they fail to pay) the government will pay.
What the Banks did was create the Home Housing Commission in 1932. They assigned this commission to go to every neighborhood in the city and document the people living there. The reason for this was if there were any Blacks, Italians, Irish, Jews or Spanish living there, that neighborhood would be redlined, meaning these people will be given the loan to buy the house at a higher interest rate.
But this had a secondary effect. Any redlined neighborhood started to lose property value. When that happened, the whites who lived there, moved out and into the suburbs, and low income blacks who were looking for places to live moved in.
But what this meant was that middle income white tax payer base was being replaced by a low income black tax payer base. And thus what happened was since blacks were low income, they didn't generate enough tax revenue to help with schools, roads, and other public services.
So by the 1950's, blacks had become the most segregated people in US cities and permanently locked in ghettos with no chance of upward mobility (meaning they had little chance of getting out). Bad schools meant, little education, low income meant, high crime, drugs came in, etc etc etc....
Where as Blacks and Arabs in European ghettos came as a result of them over-staying. They were brought in to work and then leave and not permanently settle in the West.
Canada was founed by Asians who left China and Mongolia and crossed Alaska during the Ice Age from Siberia and settled in North America. Whites came later.
Europe was founded by Central Asians who settled there 30,000-40,000 years ago.
Canada is an immigrant country where as Europe is not. India, Pakistan, Middle East were all settled by people who left Africa. Does that mean these countries allow anyone to come in?
Some do and some don't. I happen to beleive that Europe should remain white.

The Blacks in America have been forced into the Ghettos and the Muslims in France arent much different. These people are French citizens, as such they have every right to be there. Conditions have forced them to settle in these Ghettos, and its up to the French govt to help them rise above this situation.
Canada was intended for WHITE STTLERS, particularly those from ENGLAND. These early people didnt even allow the early French settlers to stay in Acadia.. So what immigration was this based on?
Canada only opened up her borders when the rest of Europe and western world did… Most of these early immigrant friendly countries were only friendly to those coming from certain areas… How friendly is country that puts a head tax on Chinese immigrants?
Canada was a White Country and they were just as resistant to outsiders as anyone in Europe…

Europe was settled in the same way as Canada… So you cant use your “settled” argument as an excuse to exclude Muslims. If its ok in Canada (very convenient that you exclude your Canada) to be settled by immigrants, then same applies in Europe.

By the way Merc, if your so up to date on your research, you should also know that these days, scientists believe that the eariliest people to settle the Northern Areas of Eastern N America didnt come from Alaska and Siberia.. They cam from Europe. Its was an ice age, so they followed the glacier across a Northernly route... Some how your missed this point in your research.

Incorrect, the ghettos are not made up of solely over stayed temporary workers but immigrants and asylees from former colonies. Places that were left in such shambles that people needed to look at other places for economic wellbeing. Large number of people who moved to Europe were people who moved legally or obtained legal status after moving there, Those who did come in as temp workers used states laws to become permanent residents.
The racist nature of the locals prevented them from moving to various areas. the ghettos did nto just see the closed minded extremist types, but also the new immigrants who were too poor to get a place anywere else, many of them moved out later and many found that they were not welcome in other areas.
Many immigrants in US and Canada also came in as temporary workers or students who ended up staying legally or illegally, and if you count the mexicans or chinese etc many just came illegally to begin with and are still coming in illegally.

Jinnah wanted population exchange of muslims and non-muslims between the hindu rashtra of india and the land of pure, pakistan.
