Sorry guys, I did not read all the posts. Jews have suffered a lot. Palestinians have suffered a lot. I sympathize with Palestinians, and I sympathize (and, on a level, empathize) with Jews. 'Two states living side by side in peace and security' is the solution.
It may be surprising or even unacceptable to some Pakistanis here, but I have no reason to consider Israel an enemy. I have read about the US president's offer to help Pakistan through Israeli planes in 1971. Even if it is untrue, Israelis have been mindful of Pakistan's concerns to some degree. Pakistan is not going to have to choose between Arabs and Israel, as Arabs have expressed their willingness to accept Israel once the final status solution is reached. Pakistan's stance is more or less the same.

Palestinians are like many other tribals around the world, who are hell bent on burning down their own house + their neighbor's. For the rest of the world, there are only two options: Stand back and let the Maulavi Ashabs burn themselves,
Or take a huge firehose, extinguish the fire, and throw the culprits in jail for the rest of their lives. If anyone resists, well there are harsher methods available to the law-enforcement officers.

There is nothing better than peaceful coexistance.Jerusalem should be declared international city & give back to Palestinians whats belonged to them prior to 1967 Arab-Israel War.Oppression must be condemned either it be in Ireland or Palestine.Analogy between Pakistan & Israel is not so correct.Pakistan came into being after a constitutional struggle led by moderate muslim leaders like Jinnah,Aga Khan etc;while Israel's creation owes much to Western imperial powers & accompanying terror campaign of jewish groups Hagannah,Stern Gang etc.The subsequent support of the US to Israel is unprecedented ,not to be compared with Pak-China equation.In short there is no harm in friendly relations between any two states if both follow the tenets of respect for humanity.And mercenary please note that NOAM CHOMSKY and the likes Are not graduates of Pakistani schools but they speak of Palestinians rights vehemently .

Where as Pakistan came into being by UK

Jerusalem is holy to all 3 religions, and when it was under Jordanian occupation from 1948-67, no Jews were allowed to the Wailing Wall, Judiasim' most holy site.
And what we have seen in Iraq with Iraqi Terrorits blowing up that Shia mosque, its apparent, that Muslim Terrorists don't hold other religion's holy sites in the same regard.
And look at what the Palestinians did to Rachel's Tomb. A sacred Jewish site which the Palestinians destroyed.
If Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martry's Brigade, PLFP, Hezbollah had the power to blow up the Wailing Wall, they would go ahead and do it.
Such a sacred site for the Jewish people, belongs to Jews.
Its the 3rd most important site in Islam, but the most important site to Jews.
Thats like giving up the Haram al-Sharif in Mecca and giving it to the Jews.
The site should be shared, so that all 3 religions can pray in peace, but Arabs cannot be trusted for guarding such a sacred site.

Many of the old Arab Hawks are dying out, like Yasser Arafat...
The new ones are fragmented and have scattered power projections like Hamas or that Iranian nut case of a President.
No one can command the Arabs like Nasser used to.
A unified coalition tried to destroy Israel in 1967 and failed with Soviet support.
With many Muslim countries accepting the fact Israel will not go away and cannot be defeated militarily.
And since Olmert has stated Israel plans to have permanent borders by 2010, and is currently working on the Arrow III missile defense system which can shoot down whose Qassam Rockets...
Israel has no strategic danger

Of course it will live longer than we would want it to. It has world's all powerful nations backing, receives MILLIONS every year in grants from all around, is allowed to build all weaponry while Palestinians are only allowed AK47, Egypt, Jordan etc. are minnows when it comes to artillery/weapon etc. What do you expect? Did you expect Iraq to fight back against US invasion? of course NO, why? because of decades of sanctions and all that. Anyway, you can keep dreaming of what you think is right and we will keep dreaming of what we think is right.

Since Israel has no natural resources, its economy simply cannot maintain the army it currently possess unless its gets outside aid.
since Israel is surrounded by enemies, it needs a large army to deter potential invasion...
Israel gets 3 billion dollars in aid from usa and egypt gets 2 billion.
as for blaming USA for selling weapons to israel which it then uses on palestinian terrorists.
can the people of waziristan blame usa for selling weapons to pakistan like the Cobra gunship which pakistan uses to hunt and destroy al qaeda cells in waziristan.
