Islamic fun.

kewn, char ki ijazat nahi hay? :aq:

Eveybody agrees for the need of ijtehad . I do not discard everything from Sahi Bukhari , but I do not accept that everything in it is sahih.
Now to mod part , GS does not take oath to stick to any kind of agenda when the offer you modship. If you have not noticed GS has only one agenda , to provide a forum for Pakistanis to have free form discussion within the Islamic and Pakistani cultural framework.

Thanks for your understanding.:biggthumb

Now you have started a fifth discussion.

This is such a motivating story and so appropriate here. What is more fun than taking the 4-hour long PMP exam, during which through careful planning, well-timed potty breaks and thoughtful snacks, you managed to remain focused and passed the test. We need more stories of fun activities like this to cheer up this place. What about your PMS? Any stories there?

^ :CareBear:..

To Faisal

Glad you liked my story. Haven't heard of PMS, is it a new certification and can a Muslim "Man" qualify for this?

Now puting it in this way, you are making me ask, would you then stop believing and following the word of Quran (Nauzbillah) since its 1400 years old? The rituals being practiced by Muslims 1400 years ago, as prescribed by Quran are very much applicable, rather those are the actually applicable ways of life for us to follow. I very much believe in ijtehad as far as its not harming the basic soul of Islam.

Re: Islamic fun.

apni apni baansuri...apna apna raag

MashaAllah, sadqay jaaon aap kay bay baha ilm kay.

PS: Are you related to Faisal?

Haha.. any time someone talks about Islam and how we are supposed to live our lives in true Islamic manner, hareem becomes all sarcastic. May be if hareem spent a little time studying Islam, she wouldn’t suffer from such attacks of meaningless sarcasm or lack of comprehension.

May be I did study Islam but perhaps I missed your and bebo's version of Islam.

:CareBear:..

Well, you have said nothing in this thread that shows that you know about Islam. All you have done is thrown sarcastic tantrums, and your husband comes in after you to clean up.

Anyway, in bebo's post, the only thing I would disagree with is "One cannot even watch tv because one sould not see na mahram ppl". I don't think there is a blanket prohibition on "seeing" na mehram ppl. Of course it depends on the purpose and niyaat. Watching a learned scholar on television explaining about your deen is certainly not prohibited.

I partly agree because we can and we should remember Allah all the time and not only in spare time.

Please explain what is Israaf? And where does it say anywhere that extra amount should go in charity?

Reference? And how does parda makes it difficult?

Reference?

This might be right.

Oh no, it's not practical because more than half of these theories are false and made up by you.

You're the one who's being sarcastic from your post no.1.

If you're so annoyed at my husband's posts then go call your wife for your help or call all of your family members here, I wouldn't complain.

Now now mirage, what the thing with you guys, you guys can't let anybody sleep or sleep yourself. You are in Karachi right. :)

But nobody tells me the word of Quran are 1400 year old and I can't show him his basic fallacy and extreme error. Quran is not 1400 year old, Quran was saved in loh mahfooz since etertinity and will be saved till men or women are long time gone and even further until Allah wishes it to be saved. What do you don't understand mirage is that you can't compare Quran with men written books like sahi bukhari and others.

When someone asked Hazrat Ali (ra), what is the tashreeh of one verse of holy Quran, he said he will give 70 surach (red) camels if somebody can can give him on verse tashreeh. Quran is for every generation, Allah never fails in guiding people no matter if it was 5000 years ago in Musa (as) time, 2000 years in Isa (as) time, 1400 years ago in Muhammad (pbuh) time or your's and my generation time. Thats what call ijtehad, that what call learning the verse looking at our time not looking back at 1400 years ago.

When do you understand that sunnah is not the men written books which is not even done in Prophet (pbuh) supervision, and he or she thinks that its the whole truth, by God is not one of muslims if you look at that way.

Go and look at the Quran not eyes tainted with sahi bukhari and others so call their prescribed sunnah but with fresh eyes looking at the issues of this day and age. InshaAllah you will look this world very different way.

Re: Islamic fun.

At least on this forum, Islamic fun is to share our religious views without hurting each others feelings through personal attacks.

May Allah forgive our mistakes of the past and bless me us wisdom to enjoy this fun.

So does Qur'an support secularism?

(I have started a new topic now)

Re: Islamic fun.

Wiseman, yes Im in khi (really appreciate your general knowledge) and I have no prob to let any one sleep. I wonder what made you think so though, well, whatever.

I would have answered you in detail if my eyes werent really heavy atm. My eyes are not tainted with sahi bukhari. Only that I give due respect and faith to the Ahadith and I cant simply stop that due to whatever reasons you or anyone bring me here. I even take this debate sensitive enough and so wouldnt want to be a part of it. Lets decide it on the Judgement Day right?

Re: Islamic fun.

hareem01, I really respect you and your husband elequence, and yes its a new topic. :)

Let start a new thread, let others like to give their opinion and I can contribute too. If you are asking just a plain question, then my answer will be absolutely no. But its just not like that, its never black or white but most of muslims think that its just plain black and white. Well what we can do.

Re: Islamic fun.

Wese I really wonder when people so readily negate the institution of Ahadith. I wonder then how do they offer their prayers anf from where did they take guidance in terms of the other arakeen e Islam. They believe in ijtehad, but they wont trust AHadith. Pity.
