Well, this clearly shows that you do not want accept the truth and accept the fact that your argument was pathetic. You deliberately ignored my whole point of putting forward that example. you remind of those people who follow circular logic: 1- I am always right 2- if i am wrong go back to 1

Instead of honourably accepting that you were wrong you came up with this. SubhaanAllah, come on brother, we are far better than this! btw do you see labels on streets saying that this street is "special" and this one is "ordinary/normal"?

I can see that you had nothing to say on this and your arguments depict very well your own behavior.

We are all here bringing forward our own point of views. But for some, anything against their own belief is not an acceptable argument.

First of all, having read your posts in the past, your just as guilty as me of "knowing" the will of god... Im only basing my understanding on Logic, which for some sad reason, is completely devoid in the minds of many muslims today... God has more important things to worry about, like those who go around killing in his name, or raping and murdering innocent people.. God has his priorities all screwed up if he is pissed of at people who partake in such harmless distractions as a mixed wedding, an event that only occurs once in someones life (hopefully)...

And the guy didnt answered anything... He went on a ridiculous rant about how people are bad because the enjoy themselve... He never tells us why these things are bad, or what they have to do with people suffering etc.. Just a ridiculously stupid rant about irrelevant garbage.

Bhai, are you handicapped or unable to find the way on your own. Your problem is that you might never have sincerely read the Quran complete with its tafsir and the Sirah of Prophet SAW from front to back on your own. There is no shortcut here, you will always stay in the same confused state as long as you run away from doing it yourself. How long will you hide your own lacking by using interpretations of others?

If you were sincere you would have done this by now than rather be trigger ready here all the time to grill some Mullah.

A sensible person who has honestly studied the Quran and Sirah genuinely can easily figure out the answer to the question in the blink of an eye.

Bhai, I WOULD LOVE TO SUBMIT TO THE WILL OF GOD… But the problem is, that with MANY aspects of Islam, the Will of god is NOT clear!

Hence, since we DONT understand the exact will of God, we must do our best to understand it for ourselves…

Those of us who submit to the interpretations of Mullahs and other beards, are commiting the same sin that you speak of (submiting to someones interpretation.) There are MANY grey areas within Islam, that dont always work in the modern world…

For example, do we as men have a right to hit our wives? Do we stone to death someone who commits Adultery? Do we suddenly stop listening to all music?

The problem is that you SAY we should Submit, but you dont DEFINE how and to what we should submit! You people try to make it so simple without taking into account any of the the complexities of Islam or of Human nature…

Some would argue that they ARE submiting, but because there is no one true interpretation that fits everywhere, we have to find a way to interpret our faith so as to allow us to find our own way towards submission.

There is actually something called introspection, a process in which you actually read and understand, not just regurgatate and memorize. If all you do is memorize and regurgitate, then you lose the flexibility of mind required to understand the world.

There is something called logic, if you cant apply logic to your relgioun or your belief system, then there is something seriously wrong with your belief system...

You cant submit to somthing that you dont understand... Simply reading the Quran as black and white simply doesnt work, because much of it can not be reconciled with the modern world. The greatest crime is allowing yourself to be impriosoned within the narrow interpretatios of religous dogma. To truly make Islam meaningful, it must be understood within the context of our lives today...

Firstly, the live and let live concept that was being referred to in this thread is not about life and death... it is about ppl saying that the "best thing about pakistan (which is supposed to be an ISLAMIC country) is that we can practise our deen any which way we want" (the whole we should let ppl in pakistan practise their deen any way we like). True, there is no compulsion upon a hindu/ christian living in the country, and they shouldn't/ cant be forced to accept islam, but what i'm saying is that a Muslim country has to IMPLEMENT ISLAM on all fronts of life.

Now to the logic.... like i said before, we all have different logics right? so how will we ever come to a conclusion.... what i'm saying is that even if there is something in Islam (that is proved with quran and hadith), then we have no space to use "our logic" to sort it our further.

E.g the quran and hadith are quite particular on riba (there is NO space for it)... now if u and i started using our logic that in this day and age.............. there is no space for it!

We submit to the teachings of the quran whether they fit well with us or not, if we understand it, then its a bonus, if we dont, then this isn't a reason to ignore it. (same agruement that a lot of women use.... i dont get why us women have to cover up, etc, etc...)

And what do u mean much of the Quran cant be reconciled in today's world??? does it need an update? (na oozobillah). The reason why it is difficult to practise Islam is bcoz the framework needed to practise is freely doesn't exist in pakistan (it doesn't at all mean that it is not as applicable today as it was 1400 years ago!)

^H2k moreover ask lakkis25 whose grave is within the KAABA. My guess is Prophet Mohammed.
I had to show to my hindu friend the pictures withing the kaaba, and he was shocked he tell me its empty, i confirmed yes it's empty.

Then he replied other misconception about Islam is cleared for me, so i further queried why is it so he replied i thought the Grave of Prophet Mohammed was inside the kaaba. I was like dugghh.

Regarding fortune
1. hazrat Ismail has knowledge of fortune this power is given by God he told people about their fortunes, Hazrat Nohh told ppls that you will see bad etc Is this not fortune this mulla actually tells that pub(Bar) is okay.
2. Magic: Hazrat Mosa, Hazrat Ishaq, Hazrat Daood you seen all had miracles other word’s you can say magic what was that.
3. Gathering together of man’s & women’s, why in hujj/kabba man’s & women’s together?
4. Difference between those dead and idols – Quran discussed about Walliyoaals, question is why then Muhammad (p.b.u.h) grave is there he is the same I guess what his mean (naoozbillah) , why islam says surrah fateha or quran reciting on dead or on grave.
He is wrong he is mixing culture and islam; Islam doesn’t say adopt all gulf/arab’s cultures or wear arabs clothes alike etc – He has no right to say anyone shirk, shirk is between Allah & person thing why mulla’s are interfering with, can he tell why ppl do suicide attacks on innocent ppls – they will not discuss about it they will encourage them.

I was quite impressed with the video. The brother spoke the truth. Before we label countries "Muslim/Islamic" we must see what type of societies they have become.
