Ok the quesion originally was if its good by islamic teaching to have boyfriend or girlfriend.

Someone asked about if love is allowed?
I say love for all human being not only is allowed but advised.

Man and woman love in the sense of what being portrayed in movies and novels is NOT allowed....unless the means to get together by acceptable ways is sought and no prohibited act is performed along the way including spending time in privacy. Got it?

We know Hazrat Khadijah was the first wife of the Prophet PBUH and he was 25 and she was perhaps 40..(someone can correct me)

They had business relation (not friendship by current sense of 'friendship' ) before marriage and she proposed him! She stood by him even during the tough times and supported him all the way when he became the prophet.

I don't wanna derail your "nice" discussion, but since this has been said about me in this thread, I have to reply.

I have not said anything that violates the forum rule. If I have then I am ready to be banned. Yes, I alreay said I do not know anything about islam. since I am new, I might be posting irregularly here and there, that can correct with time.....

What is my fault. Anyhow, easy now. I am out of this thread......
