OKAY FIRST OF ALL, I would shave that little worms unibrow

and then break his face and fingers. And steal his money too. Little sh*t

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

Thanks for posting this Princess, I saw this in the Daily Mail the other day and was thinking of posting it here but had second thoughts..

Poor girl and apart from the rape itself what a lowlife bragging about what he did to her on the phone to her bf :(

They do sometimes in exceptional cases such as little Jamie Bulger killers..

My brother is 13 years old and he is 5 10 already. No they are not 4 feet.

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

Yes, we forget our children being busy in the rat race.

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

^Lots of kids don't have ideal childhoods/don't get enough attention from parents, they don't all go out to rape and steal, do they? Easy to make excuses tho I guess.. and it's not like at 13 he wouldn't know the difference between right and wrong..

Daddies too busy with his very young girlfriend....ain't got time for home.

The friends apparently shouted for him to stop-considering their age I think that was pretty damn brave.

As for the fact the judge lifted the ban on his name not being published etc-I think it's what some would consider 'setting an example'. I know it's had an impact on some families in the area who won't allow their boys out of their gardens/homes.

I reckon he is, hence the assault.

Condolences my ass. The twerp should definitely be punished, and sent for mental rehab or something.

A person who has reached puberty is no longer a child.

Speaking from an Islamic point of view he is baaligh (mature) because he has reached puberty and he should be subject to the same punishment as someone 5 years older than him.

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

We Pakis/Muslims don’t have monopoly over these things, read the story of these 10 and 12 year old rapists below…

Two 10-year-old boys charged with raping girl, 8 | UK news | guardian.co.uk

BBC NEWS | UK | England | Boy who raped teacher given life

Life sentence for 12-year-old rapist - Scotsman.com News

Tampabay: Woman identifies 13-year-old as rapist

This has nothing to do with him being Paki/Muslim but the papers are going to find a way to drag all Pakis and Muslims into this they always do…

That’s why even though I believe he should be punished very harshly I’m against his identity being revealed, our community doesn’t need any more bad press, the 10 yr old white boys who recently raped a younger girl didn’t have their idenities revealed, why the double standards?

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

Nosherwan-
by no means am I saying this is to do with religion (and I have yet to read a media report that says that too) however given the fact a lot of Muslims (this lads family included) see themselves as 'better' at their counterparts (none-Muslim families) at raising children, in religion and so forth a lot of questions will come to mind in many parents minds.

Some parents in this majority Muslim community are now scared for their child's safety...in an area they considered their 'home away from home' because of the fact it was 80-85% Muslim (Pakistani).

If the issue of religion had of been the centrepoint and this had happend in a Muslim country which practiced Shariah law I doubt he would have got his comfortable stint of 3 years in little boys prison.

Another thing I mentioned was the condolences thing-I am talking about the culture of many communities-this does not reflect religious belief in any shape or form.

The community in question NEEDS a wake up call. Have you ever walked down Barrett Drive in the dark after say 5pm on a winters night? If your new to the area and do that by mistake I'd say take a personal alarm and also let others know where you are going.

Drugs, gangs, now kiddie aged rapists...this community may not see the issue as it's problem but if we're such good model citizens then sooner or later someone will have to stand up and say, no this behaviour, these issues are not acceptable in my neck of the woods.

Who gives a toss about what outsiders think, it's about saving our own next generation and being able to tell right from wrong. Being a gang will never legally pay someones bills will it? Higher aspirations are needed in this community.

I'm not talking about u. I'm talking about the papers, everytime an Asian/Muslim does something bad they drag Islam into it and like to make it out as though it's got something to do with being Muslim, implying that all Muslims are like that.

You should read some of the blatant racist/bigoted/hateful/inciteful Islamaphobia in British newspapers... I love this country but the papers make me feel like an outsider (hated and detested) sometimes..

Khair I'm going off tangent..

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

Princess I agree with everything you’re saying..

Something needs to be done.

We Pakis are the worst community in Britain. Same as Black and Latino people in America.

Something needs to be done quickly, it’s no wonder we’re hated.

I’m also very concerned about the ghetto culture of the Paki community..

I opened a thread on the same subject a bit ago.

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

Nosherwan:
you don't need to tell a former journalist about racism in the British media. I chose to not practice due to the fact the only thing you get in most newspapers is only their to sell papers. Fear sells papers...and what is more frightful to a none-Muslim than a religion they simply do not understand?

Glad we can agree on what I was trying to say.

You should carry on, show the world the other side of the coin and counter the propoganda… :k:

Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists

There are plenty of desi newspapers/magazines (including sisters magazines that deal with religion and culture) and nobody was interested in what I had to say. I've offered to write columns/articles for free to gain publicity on areas that need it e.g. gang culture within desi communities but none of them were interested. Why? I assume Ashwariya Rai-Bachans interviews look better in their glossy magazines and stories of political uprest in Pakistan sell more papers in the community.

Just me alone-I couldn't do it. I even tried setting up a community focused magazine to deal with issues to motivate young asians, to give them hope for the future that we can do more than run takeaways and be cabbies but again....noone was interested in contributing to it with their thoughts or finances.
