I have been contemplating if I should post this near but will as I am a member and freedom of speech/blah blah blah.
Recently a young boy has been convicted of rape of a 20 year old woman. Nothing big some would say, however anyone who considers themselves a good homan I’d say would feel sick after reading the following article:
Some MPs are now apparently calling for action. The community this lad belongs to is literally a ghetto. It’s one of those areas where it’s best to stay quiet than face the communities negativity. Taking up further education is literally either done to party out of town or is done by those families who wish to become something. The area is unfortunately classed as a regeneration zone and doesn’t have much going for it at the moment.
The boy comes from a typical Pakistani origin family. Families are going to pay their condolences for his sentancing.
How would you feel if this happend in your community? Would you go pay condolences for the sentancing or would you think, no rape is rape I don’t care if it’s a boy my family knows he shouldn’t of done it.
I’m not looking at starting an arguement etc on here, I’m just wondering how others would look at this at this story made it to a few national papers and parliament.
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
Yeah, that’s one way of freakin’ putting it.
How can anyone go and give condolences for a sentence someone has been given on charges of rape/assault? That is DISGUSTING. I can NOT believe that he’s being given 3 years and he showed ‘remorse’ ?!?!?! In my opinion, they need to tighten up, he RAPED a women in in front of 2 little ones, not to mention he’s only so little himself. How the hell is that just being immature? That’s evil and disgusting and he should be put away for good.
So frustrating, this is why every woman should be given compulsory boxing lessons If anyone EVER came up behind me and put his dirty little hands on my neck…the way I would… Let’s just say, he wouldn’t live.
HOW THE HELL. Rape is rape, okay? I don’t understand why it gets reduced JUST because you’re under a certain age, you obviously had the mental brain to commit such a crime, you still left the same scars in a womans life that any other rapist would, heck you went to the extent of BRAGGING about it yet you’re given a lower sentence? Wow, we as a nation seem to be getting very clever. Buh-ravo.
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
This is the law, young offenders are treated differently to adult offenders. Whether we like it or not. Part of the reasoning is because they lack the mens rea to commit such an offence. They are considered to be too young to completely understand the consequences of their actions. Personally I think whether you're 13 or 30 the law should be the same for everyone. In order to deter people from such criminal offences, it is crucial that we set examples so that others do not follow.

That is sick, in some countries i would be hired to kill that sort of person....... but it shocked me i mean the criminal was 13! OK i fought my first battle at 12 but that is different to rape someone at that age! Thats just sick....... What kind of fammily did he come from!
I would certainly not offer condolences to the boys fammily rather the woman should be helped. The boy should get life sentence, with all his fammily locked up too...... i would stop short of the death penalty on this one because i couldn't kill a kid, but i'd let another kid kill him ;)
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
Yeah i'm suprised his "friends" didn't stop him, i would have at least held him back and let the woman get away....... anyway i cannot understand his reasons for this....... it just so savage, almost animalistic.
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
um some 13 year olds can be bigger..plus he did beat her and its easy to subdue someone by beating htem.
In this case i dont think its age but size and stature....
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
i checked the link to the story and saw the guy's pic... they don't even mention names here in Canada if a offender is underage. The judge lifted the ban on printing his name but does that extend to his picture as well. weird brits.
Re: Is this what we raise our children to be-one of the youngest convicted rapists
My cousins were at least 5'10 when they were 13 years old. Now they are at least 6'0. When you are taller and stronger, it's easy to attack. Even easier if the girl was petite.
I am surprised they released his name and photo. There have been quite a few violent/sexual attacks on children by other children in the UK and their names and photos have not been released. So yeah, I find it strange they released his i.d.
