Many Pakistanis have long suspected whether our GHQ is playing games in Sawat and FATA by deliberately allowing thugs like Baitullah and Fazlullah to run amok, both for “strategic depth” reasons and to collect US aid in the name of “war on terror”.
Many have wondered how it is possible for Baitullah to give open press conferences with video cameras and hundreds of reporters and why he feels free to call TV channels to “take credit” for suicide bombings.
Also, our army, which controls world’s advanced missiles and nukes still cannot locate and jam an FM station which even a high school student can find with low-tech devices.
On top of all this, senior generals have called Baitullah and his men “Pakistani patriots”
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Shocked, shocked i tell you! LOL, everyone knows. Even ISI/MI can’t be that stupid that they can’t triangulate and attack or jam Mullah Radio’s FM channel for the past couple of years. A 12 year old kid can be taught how to locate a radio signal, but the entire signals corp of the Pakistan Army cannot do this.
Swati people are well aware of this double game through which the ISI qabza group is trying to take control over Pakistan from a new direction. All at the expense of innocent civilians. Even the fighting tactic of the army is meant to provide more support to the Taliban, as the army seems to love firing artillery and mortar in the general direction of villages which ends up killing more civilians. Must be the new PMA Kakul course on fighting a counterinsurgency - lob unguided mortars in the general direction of the population to win friends!
I try not to be a conspiracy theorist, but in this case, the evidence is too overwhelming to think that the pakistan army is this incompetent.
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Actually I have a theory that the signal corp of the army is THE taliban. Has anyone checked lately if the signal corps are even in army bases or are they missing?
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Look. They have nothing better to do. They have mostlikely never been to Pakistan, drink at starbucks and are armchair generals without any real knowledge on warfare.

Looks like someone is describing himself.
Aren't you the guy who wanted to join the US State Department once? Are you even a Pakistani citizen?
As someone who still is a Pakistani passport carrying person, and someone who has siblings and parents close to the "Taliban" zone, I can do without the advice of internet "intellectuals" who pretend to talk in Pakistan's interests while carrying the citizenship of some "Satan" country.
If you have something to add to the thread, please do so. Bringing in personal attacks will result in this kind of stuff.
"Knowledge on warfare" my foot.;) You think you know more about warfare by watching Rambo movies?
PS: I do like coffee occasionally, but would prefer my "doodh patti" any day to Starbucks

What knowledge on warfare do you possess? I've seen conflict up close in pakistan.
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
^ Yaar, acccording to your theory, Pakistan Army, ISI, MI, PML (N) in particular and punjabis in general, PPP to some extent, MMA, ANP (interestingly!), anti-americans, rightists, conservatives.... all are Taliban supporters. How can we take your theory seriously anyways?
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
When you guys are done ridiculing, let us know so we can participate too.
Please do participate :)
Please enlighten us simple people as to why one of the most powerful armies of the world capable of operating latest gizmos and super duper missiles cannot locate a terrrorist chief who gives press conferences to hundreds of reporters out in the open?
Please educate us on why Brigadiers would go and pray with a terrorist mullah who has only recently murdered hundreds of Pakistanis in the most brutal of manner?
Please tell us why our army is itching to fight all types of foreigners but becomes pussy cats when it comes to a rag tag band of teenagers armed with crappy infantry weapons?

Well if US is sponsoring Mr Mehsud and Inida is engaging us on the Eastern border to allow Mehsud time then why cant we sponsor a group to counter him.
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Well if US is sponsoring Mr Mehsud and Inida is engaging us on the Eastern border to allow Mehsud time then why cant we sponsor a group to counter him.
If US is sponsoring Mehsud, why did our army not kill him so far?
Why was he allowed to conduct open press conferences with video cameras?
Why is he allowed to make phone calls and give interviews to Pakistani TV?
Why did our generals call him "Pakistani patriot"?
If your neighbour puts a keeRa in your shalwar, will you kill the keeRa first or will you let it bite your parts and put another "friendly" keeRa in there?
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Thats exactly what they want to happen....cant you see.......Mehsud becomes a folk hero after getting killed by Pak Army and then there be dozens of other Mehsuds.
Can you provide some proof that ISI or COAS called him a patriot..........??
As far the keera goes I wish things were that simple.
Look US has its own agenda its own national interest and they have to pursue it , fair enough. We have our own. If you see pass Mehsud you will realise that army killing him will not solve anything there will be others to take his place and army will only exhaust its resources and will.
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
Saroo,
So you are okay with allowing someone who you call a US agent to operate simply because his death could lead to “more like him” meaning more US agents?
Do you believe all Mehsuds are US agents?
You therefore want our army to not pursue a man who has ordered killings of hundreds of Pakistanis from Charsadda to Chakwal?
Re: Is our army working with Fazlullah and his cronies?
O yaar that just proves the point I made earlier about Pakistan Army focused on the Eastern front.........If they are in senses they will in the face of an active eastern front make whatever peace they can on the western front. I hope you dont expect them to engage themselves on the western front when India clearly is upto be it an election gimmick or something else.
