I find it amusing that everyone conveniently ignored the fact that senior Army officers and the people leading the "Rah-e-Haq" operation aimed at eliminating Fazlullah's thugs suddenly found their "imaan" and prayed behind the same guy they were supposed to be fighting.
I'm sure this too can be blamed on CIA/RAW/Mossad conspiracy. Maybe CIA used mind control rays to make Brig. Tahir pray with Fazlullah.

i think there is a split in the army, if the the Pak army wants they can stop the taliban forces in no time, taliban forces in swat cant be bigger than pak army.
Since the real OBL is nowhere to be found, they needed someone as “powerful” but who would that be? Lets announce $5million head money, as a result he claims for even gunman attack in NY/NJ to be by his men

PPP, PML-N, Musharraf (as COAS) has allied with MQM (“division of subcontinent was the biggest blunder in history of makind”) in government. Why can’t few brigs pray behind a mullah who the government is making deals with?

Dude they have fired rockets, grenades and other weaponry which don’t fall under “crappy infantry weapons”. Its not like they are fighting using revolvers while army using tanks.

is there any big natural resource like gold, uranium, oil, rare earth minerals etc, in Pakistan which CIA(US) UK and other countries are trying to capture, what is there in Pakistan that the world is interested in or is the world fighting communism like in the 80's in Afghanistan, people inside Pakistan have to infer on this, for me the world is trying to help Pakistan to become a moderate country.

^Not really true, the world just does not want al qaeda types getting hold of nukes or using pakistan as abase to conduct terrorism. It's up to pakistanis to look for their own best interest, which we have failed to do due to blind hatred of the west.

Its the nukes, they want to neuter Pakistan, no 'unwanted' country should have it.

US wants to remove our nukes, so somehow they convinced us to not take care of terrorists who give press conferences openly and they somehow made us make "aman muhayday" with these groups?
Do they have mind control rays?
Even if these guys get money from abroad, what is stopping our army from taking care of these guys?

it is the right to take every on board..especially ulemas..the fitna factory is located in wazirstan...and to launch a massive operation there,we need to clear many grounds..
in order to create peace in swat and fata,we need to win people mind..implement shariah in whole of nwfp..atleast stop drone attacks..start large scale development projects..the we can eliminate support for so called mullahs or mujahiddins..

Foreign forces keeping ammo and financial supplies to militants like Mehsud, Fazlullah while demanding that Pakistan cut ties with Haqqani and two other militants in Afghanistan ... Just like US/UK/coalition is "unable" to counter Haqqani, Hekmatyar and other militants, similarly Pakistan is unable to reign in Mehsud, Fazlullah etc.
Whats in shalwar, we don't call it keera :p

There is a sizeable source of oil north of Pakistan and tunneling a corridor through Balochistan could make it quite accessible...interestingly, the only superpower that has control over the Balochistan coastline and access to this oil would be China, as they were instrumental in helping build Gwadar port. Not to mention all the natural resources and minerals, and natural gas found in Balochistan and NWFP.
Add to that the possible desire of Karzai to acquire NWFP lands under his power.
Add to that the possible desire of independent landlords in these provinces to want to separate from the national gov't of Pakistan so they can get a bigger piece of the pie.
And you have to understand that if America is losing American lives in Afghanistan because of terrorist sanctuary in NWFP and Balochistan, then its only obvious that it wants to get that area under control, so American soldiers can breathe a bit. This the American gov't has made amply public.
