Is it wrong

Re: Is it wrong

And by the way…people all over the world have no issue celebrating Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. No issue at all because these things are fun for THEM.

But when it comes to American holidays its all about how Muslims are doing bidat and becoming like the kuffaaaaaaaaaaaaaar.

Re: Is it wrong

its always personal choice…

same could be said about things too…like there is nothing wrong with having a couple of drinks or a bite of pork or some minor makeout session with a girlfriend/boyfriend… innit?

Re: Is it wrong

Right, because consuming pork/alcohol (which has expressley been forbidden) and committing zinna is on the exact same platform/level as dressing up like a minion from Despicable Me and walking to your neighbor’s for candy

Re: Is it wrong

thats the point…everyone determines whats their level/platform…where they draw the line…its different for everyone..

Re: Is it wrong

Why do people turn these issues into a such big deal? Whether someone celebrates such things or not is a personal choice and a totally non issue. Who cares, really?

Re: Is it wrong

no…I think when it comes to matters of deen, the level/platform has been pretty clearly laid out.
there is no self-determination there.
unless I missed a chapter or two…

Re: Is it wrong

Re: Is it wrong

BP! you have made good points.

People do these acts just like to flow with the flow. Right or wrong. They would rather fall in to an on coming waterfall.

And wherever is the flow, these people go with ..until they realize they and who follow them are too far and no one has any direction.

These people are just like a leaf, a broken piece of wood floating on the water lacking their own minds, identity and individuality.

Re: Is it wrong

diwana pal, do you have a beard and all? or are you like the typical conservative type - singing on one forum, and posting singing is haraam on the other?

Re: Is it wrong

we carved one! its so scary and perfect. and like our baby.

it was so much fun!!!

Re: Is it wrong

I do grow beard (even at the wrong place) until I shave it, if you are sooooo interested to know and be curious. Ultimately it is the fault of the testosterone I have no control on it.

Who are “typical conservatives” …

…and who are “typical enlightened, Maadern,
run of the mills ,
Aloofs,
sheep,
followers of their newly made masters”?

…is debatable.

Re: Is it wrong

so no beard.

thats fine.

oh waisey, very naise saangs on the audio forum, pal.

Re: Is it wrong

:hehe:

Thank you.

It shows you do have some music sense.

Personally and based on my understanding and research: I do not think music is ‘haram’ or should be considered ‘haram’.

It is simply a mathematical repetition of sound waves with high and low pitch. I have said similar to this, a long time ago here.

Hardly harmful for anyone by itself.

A separate discussion altogether.

Re: Is it wrong

Islam can be as simple or complex as one makes it. One must follow the Qur’an and Sunnah of course, but what it comes down to is what is in your heart and how that translates to your actions and words.

Re: Is it wrong

nice fancypants excuse. music not haraam coz you have been posting it all over. pumpkin haraam because you never did it. “individuality” is revealed.

Re: Is it wrong

diwana yaar, by that definition, a nude picture is just a digital rendering of your monitor’s pixels.

Re: Is it wrong

A pig is simply a collection of molecules.

Re: Is it wrong

Diwana follows Islam which majority of Pakistani’s does.

Ease oneself’s & criticize others.
