Most fast bowlers these days have good slower deliveries and other variations, as pure pace alone cannot win games. Infact, as demonstrated by Shaun Tait, it can actually lose you games :)

A wily bowler like Akram can teach the Indian seamers tricks other than pure speed.

indian seamers already bowl the best disguised slower balls in the business. infact not only do they mislead the batsman playing into thinking that they just hit another 'fast' ball to the boundary, they are frequently empirically impossible to distinguish from the normal deliveries with the aid of sensors and camera footage. the only real giveaway is wrist position.
