Akram is the only pakistani associated with IPL. He is the bowling coach for KKR. No pakistani players were selected for IPL. Akram should have turned down the offer as a respect for our players. I am a bit disappointed.

There are two pakistani umpires in there.
But wasim has been associated with kkr since ipl started without break.
he is just fulfilling his contract.

Why? He is just earning is bread, if Pakistan doesn't want his services then he will offer it to those who want it, simple.

Just a matter of time before he takes over Pakistan Cricket Team coaching responsibilities. I could envision Wasim as a Coach in the world cup in 2015 in Aussieland. Man of the match of the finals in WC1992 afterall and a legend!

^^ Not going to happen untill Waqar is coach and current inept type of management prevails....also Wasim's ppl skills were very weak...

indian fast bowling problems stem from issues related to their culture and genes. wasim akram aint fixing that. although i agree, he shouldnt be coaching there if Pakistani players arent playing.

Well, I do agree that everyone wants to earn money. No doubt about that. But one always wants to meet a common ground in terms of following principles and earning money. For a legend like Akram, it looks kind of stupid that he is associating himself with IPL and Indian cricket while all of pakistan is upset on the way being treated by BCCI. Doesn't his conscious trouble him? I mean common..........

No they never offered him ......he once said that if they will offer me i will be definitely accepting it but for that they have to come to me

Why is everyone against Waqar all of a sudden? Has he not done a good job so far? Why should n't he remain as coach until 2015 if Pakistan continue to improve and produce good results under his coaching. As per IK, Waqar is mentally tougher than Wasim
