So people have to be doctors, engineers and astronauts to be considered educated? Lets not get ridiculous here. There are more educated females in the South than you'd care to know. Comparing a very small portion of one nation's population to an extremely large portion of the other is outrageous. You do know that most of Pakistan's population lives in rural areas, right?

I'm talking about current day Pakistan. The whole world knows how important education is; but in Pakistan its NOT FREE. Families have limited income; they know the girl will be married off and she will not support the family; the boy will stick around and if they educate him he can become a professional and provide for the family. Thats the thinking over there.

i think you also tried to pull a comparison between rural alabama and rural punjab.

the lack of free education is not an excuse. there are plenty of institutions that are free. except a lot of people don't like to fund these institutions because it will hinder their profit margins.

i say more reason for the education of women. so, if one girl does get an education, she can share her knowledge with 5 other women.

My whole point was that people who live in rural societies don't churn out highly educated females. The reason why the females in the American South are educated is because it is free! Higher education is not and hence the shortage of southern female professionals.
Pakistan can't afford to provide free education to all its citizans.

Here, up to high schol is free. There's no college that's absolutely free, there are public unis/community colleges that have low tuition but not free.
High school graduate is barely considered educated in today's world, whether it's in Pakistan or america or canada.

where it teaches their women for free th Quran and sunnah?
what a laugh.
every village has a mosque and an imam of some sort
they should teach women too
but i forgot
the mentalitly of these men makes them feel they are so superior to women and women deserve to be treated like nothing.
they are not following religion they are following their culture.
there is a big difference
