Erased, wiped off...it all means the same. If Ahmedinejad could nuke Israel out of existence, he would. Israel can never break up like USSR because it has none of it's political and social vices. So the only way to make Jersusalem's present owners 'vanish from the page of time' would be to vanquish them in war.

Erasing of an apartheid regime (which is what Ahmadinejad said) and wiping out all population of country (which is what Peres said) are completely different. They are NOT the same.
Ahmadinejad further explained it by giving an example of USSR. It also is erased from the pages of time, but it does not mean the annihilation of Russian people.

Peres was speaking of a response to an Iranian attacak. And he saic nothing about killing the Iraqi population Twisting words does not make your argument valid. Ahmadinejad is a hate-mongering, racist liar that deserves allies like David Duke and others.

I thought God’s will is that Israel will last forever. The Bible predicts that the new/old nation of Israel will be destroyed for a short while during Armageddon (probably when Ahmadijenad and his friends gather their armies against it) but will be rebuilt and be a light unto the world till the end.
