Iran is the only country in the world calling for the destruction of Israel. Bush's comment of regime change is different from Ahmedinijad's comment of wiping out Israel.

I did not support the harsh retaliation by Israel against the Lebanese people
But lets be clear about something. Israel does not target innocent civilians deliberately. Either it was due to an accicdent or Hezbollah on purpose fired rockets on Israel from crowded civilian areas knowing that if Israel attacks that Rocket Launcher, it will result in civilian casualties causing bad press for Israel. A win-win situation for Hezbollah.
But what this war did in the long run is brought in the Lebanese Army in Southern Lebanon and made Hezbollah aware that if it does anything as stupid as attack Israel then this is kind of retaliation expected.
