Yep, they will bring on the sanctions themselves. We know, we are quick to impose the sanctions against the muslim countries…last I checked Israel was still in violation of at least half a dozen UN resolutions. You want to write to your senator about that and have him stand up for what is right for once? What did you say…nada…that is what I thougt

What I’m saying is that sanctions didn’t seem to bother Saddam too much. They seemed to make an awful lot of Iraqis suffer, on the other hand.
At any rate, iran still has too many powerful allies around to make sanctions likely at all.

'Tis not a big deal. They've lived through sanctions before and in much weaker conditions. they only came out much stronger. Apart from that, the only reason Iran rejected the proposals were most likely due to some unrealistic 'incentives' from EU. I'd really like to know what these 'incentives' were. If the Big 3 are acting like divs behind closed doors, its only right that Iran gave them the middlefinger. No one should have to compromise thier rights, not least to some paranoid gits abroad.
