stu, keep up, Khatimi is no longer in the picture. Its ahmadinejad, and i dont think he's too keen on appeasing the west either. However, seeing as the nuclear warhead accusation are merely based on suspicion, i dont think they'll get too far with this anyway. (it wud be helpful if you could provide a link)
personally i find french are a tad bit saner than the US in dealing with iran. in anycase, if Iran is ever attacked, Iraq will be definately be affected. It woudn't be a good move for the US considering the reprecussions from the iraqis, and to be honest, they know that. they'd be right divs if they didnt.

Actually khatami is still in charge for a few more days, albeit a lame duck.
Regardless of what you think, even France has said that of Iran resumes their nuclear activities this week then they will be referred to the securities council for sanctions.
