INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

^ Fkhan I understand your feelings but lets not make too much fuss in case we lose the high moral ground we now own. If Hair leaves than it will be worth it and lets move on. For ICC champions trophy we will assume that Inzi is injured.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

^^ yeah..So INZI is the sacrificial lamb which he himself volunteered to be and now the national team will not be accused of tampering at least in the near future…
:masha: to INZI and
afsos on Hair not being investigated …

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

so basically Inzi is AQ Khan of Pakistani cricket :)

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

^^ Good one :)

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

PAKISTAN (PCB) SHOULD NOW FILE A CASE IN COURT OUTSIDE OF ICC (if the code of conduct allows them) AGAINST DARRELL HAIR FOR BRINGING DISREPUTE TO INZIMAM'S NAME AND PCB AND FOR THE AFTERMATH OF OVAL TEST - AS A GRIEVANCE LAWSUIT
THEY SHOULD USE IMRAN's ADVICE NOW!!

seems so indeed …:halo:

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREP

I agree. bring charges of disrepute to Darryl Hair. He should not be getting away scot free.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

INZI Seems happy

But I don’t agree with John Agnew on BBC…

…But this is a serious issue, and is fundamental to all sport. It is simply unforgivable for any sportsman to refuse to play because he objects to a decision…

what about match officials who cause players to behave this way and then are later found guilty of misinterpretation of the rules…

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Live press confress is on BBC now.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Although I didnt like Agnew's column but he is right about the line you quoted. Mistakes and bias both result in bad decisions but no sportsman should refuse to play the game because he feels he has been hard done. There are proper channels to present your point of view. Pakistan should have protested for the decision but their way of protesting was not right. If Inzi was let go that would bascially tell every team that they can leave anytime they think they have been hard done by the officials. The Indians werent exactly jumping for joy when Dhoni was caught out off of Lee's bowling when replays showed it was a big no ball while Asad Rauf was umpiring during the recently concluded tri nation series. I think it was a fair decision and one that was expected. I dont think many people (rationally thinking) would have thought that Inzi would avoid being penalised on both counts.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Hair says allegations of bias against umpires form no part of this case.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

[FONT=Times New Roman]This is great news for Pakistan, but celebration at this stage is premature. PCB should not uselessly loot money rather use it on development of cricket in Pakistan by adding new stadiums, upgrading present one and organizing academies at gross root level. Which will allow job for good cricketing brains and skills development for youth.
[FONT=Times New Roman]
[FONT=Times New Roman]By looting money I don’t mean to disagree with the steps taken so far e.g. hiring lawyers and standing behind the team, rather I am talking about suing Hair for costing Pakistan a game, disrepute to Pakistan name, and enormous financial cost in term of legal fees, traveling fees, lost of income to Inzi match fees, possible financial lost due to reduce chances of winning ICC trophy due to Inzi absence, which will result in additional lost of income in term of advertising deals etc as well as compensation for distress to whole nation, which could easily be in millions if not in billions.
[FONT=Times New Roman]
[FONT=Times New Roman]I fear PCB may accept a deal of resignation from Hair, which they shouldn’t since it will come automatically, rather they should use same legal team to sue him for compensation on all accounts.

Totally agree PCB used INZI as A Q Khan... Salute to both, am sure underground they got financial compensations.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Hair says he wish to continue umpiring.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Hair refuses to comment on ICC hearing and its outcome.

Re: INZI NOT GUILTY OF BALL TAMPERING CHARGE/ GUILTY OF BRINGING THE GAME INTO DISREPUTE

Asked if this proves him worng and will he continue as an Umpire

he replied saying he did the job to the best of his ability and and still looks forward to being an umpire
