I expected Inzamam to get banned and the allegation of ball tampering to be false. The point is if Inzamam is taking the blame of bringing the game into disrepute, Darrel Hair should also be put on spot light on accusing falsely and irresponsibly a team for cheating.
I know in public eye, Darrel Hair has lost if any respect left but it is necessary that he pays the price in court of accusing Pakistan for cheating. I hope ICC brings it into attention. It is only fair.
For Champions Trophy, it is a great loss for Pakistan but I think in long run it will help the spirit of the team who have been exhusted by this controversy. Time to turn the page and move on, I think Faisal Iqbal should take Inzamam's position in Champion's Trophy.

When ICC official said that “there will be only 4 more questions” , Hair turned to him and said “no no…as far as i m concerned, I am happy to take as many questions as they want to ask”
lol…when his every 2nd answer is “I AM NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THAT” and “I AM NOT GOING TO COMMENT ON THAT” and “I HAVE ALREADY SAID AND ASNWERED THE QUESTION THAT I AM NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THIS”

Good for Inzi. But it was obvious he would be punished for something. Unfortunate thing is Hair got away even after doing what he has done, demanding money, calling Pakistan cheat. IMO Inzi should appeal though.

Rubbish decision by the ICC...the cause for the match disreputation was the ball tempering...when there is no tempering is found...no question should arises of bringing the game into disrepute...
Pakistan must ban Darrell Hair as a person and as an umpire permanently!

Yes I am also a bit disappointed.....when there was no cheating or ball-tampering, Inzi should not have been punished for anything. On the positive side he can now keep all his fasts :). I believe the ICC Trophy starts in late Ramadan
