Faisal putr, what difference does it make if he/she is not Christian? Every human being has the same set of merchandize, two eyes, two boobs, everything alike, so why even worry about who is Christian and who is not? It is only the minds of the dumb idiots who make one type acceptable over some other. But I don’t blame you for thinking like that, because you don’t know any better.
And you are talking about 9/11....do you believe that even 2 % of Pakistani couples even know what happened? Don't open your mouth too much if you dont know what the fk you are talking about.
Personally, I've heard that marring Christian/Jew females were allowed in ancient times, when there were less muslims females, so in those days it was allowed, as the kids would mostly take their fathers's faith.

Madhanee, I think Faisal is talking from the view point of a Muslim.
Ira, Do you think that Kaleem, Matsui or I are any less muslim than anyone else? I know where Faisal is coming from, and wherever he is coming from does not apply to today’s times.
Who am I to judge someone of their religion? But to some people it matters and to some people it doesnt. From what I understand, Faisal was trying to tell kaleem that a Muslim man marrying a Christian/Jew is okay from a Muslim point of view. He wasnt criticizing him.
Marrying someone from a different religion doesnt make us better or worse people. Its just that everyone has different ideas for a spouse. And thats perfectly fine. But I dont think anyone should go around forcing their ideas on anyone :)
madhanee, people are going to talk regardless of their religion, race or gender. Muslims talk when you marry a non-Muslim, Whites talk when a white marries a black and vice versa. You cant stop people from talking. And if you dont like what they have to say, you gently tell them to mind their own buisness. Its as simple as that. And i really think you are sterotyping this attitude to Muslims only.
Yeah Ira, because I don’t see any Africans coming here to talk about what is allowed and what is not according to their faith, unless you think that Faisal is an African. Are you out of your mind? Do you not think that Kaleem and I are Muslims? Are we any less of a Muslim than you or Faisal are? My Islam does not dictate to me whom I should marry, may be your’s does.
Screw the Pakistani guys. My cousin who is a very successful professional girl couldn't put up with the crap Pakistani men were giving her in pre-marriage relationships. She is not your desired 'gori chitti, submissive billy' (although I think she is super hot). Lucky for her she met an American Christian Southern Baptist gora who loved her to bits. They have been both married for over 12 years now.
Give her a pat on her back next time u see her FG. Make sure it says on the back only. That was a very wise decision made before it was too late. I should follow her steps soon.
Mads why would africans come here to start with??? We will all have to go to an african board, if one exists, and see what goes on there.

Madhanee I think you are either having a bad day or you are not really reading my posts. I said like 5 posts ago, I am not judging anyones religion. I am not sure why you keep saying I do that.
And then some aunties who wouldn't look at her twice before she got married started talking about the hell she will go to for marrying a non-muslim. They criticized her skin color, her job, her short hair, her dress and her travelling alone.
I know. It worked for my cousin but it doesn't mean it can work for everyone. She is a very different kind of girl. She doesn't want any children and has very little expectaions from a life partner. So, not many Pakistani men would be willing to put up with that (specially a decade ago).
And her not wanting children and not taking crap from men evolved after two disasterous relationships with Pakistani guys. One of whom rejected her after a 6 month mangni saying, she is not white enough. Asshole.
