Intellectual show offs.

That topic deserves its own thread. It is a powerful discussion also.

Re: Intellectual show offs.

Let me answer your questions.

1-As a person; if a guy is gay/atheist we should treat him with kindness. Its our conduct, over years which make them change their minds. NOT a discussion on GS.

2-As a ruler; lawmaker;thinker; one who is power; We should treat such TRENDS as mall-function of society.

Quran was not ONLY written for avg. joes!!!

So you both are right and wrong to some extent at same time.

Believe it or not we are always responsible for even micro-interaction with ppl.
I suggest you study subject of "ra'eea"(If I pronounce it right)

You will be questioned for ever time you could have an impact on an other individual.
And smart guy like your self, would be held more accountable.

Thanks.

mirch THERE IS nothing to discuss!!!! When a person is driven by some thing He is too shy to admit.
You DONT address their issues DIRECTLY!!!!!!

remember uswas hasana?? sufis converting ppl by being them self. with out winning moronic arguments ???

Religion DOES not translate into DUMBA$$ness!!! religious ppl who converted millions must have some qualities. Would you not say so??
Here after years we can't convince a single person!! yet we think we are baby-Einstein.

Makes lots of sense.

What do gays have to do with atheism?

Ya Allah :smack2: I miss the healthy debate..

app thora sa rest kareen…
aur kuch protein kaheen.

PM, if you think there is nothing to discuss, the best you could do is stay away instead of acting all immature. stop flooding the thread with gibberish and ruining the discussion.

So what connection do gays have with atheism? I'd like to stick to the topic.. and read constructive replies ON the subject please.

[note]Gina and queer are right no more flooding in this thread otherwise all flooded posts will be deleted.[/note]

There may not be any direct connection but Religion is the only mandate that could enforce a heterosexual life on an individual as their is no other logical reason why a person should/cannot be a homosexual.

Having said that, a religious person is less likely to live a confirmed gay lifestyle as the aspect of committing sin is going to bother his conscious, if nothing else. That thought of committing sin is not going to be present in someone who does not believe in any supreme power to begin with.

Both extremely un-Islamic ideologies.
It was an example.

TLK Bhai I was referring to this.. not all gays are atheists.. and not all atheists are gay. Religion has zero connection with sexual preference..that's what I was pointing at.

this might be off topic, but thank you TLK for this admission. now if only every believer would see this, and quit trying to make all sorts of unconvincing "logical" arguments to prove that somehow homosexuality is unnatural or immoral vis-a-vis heterosexuality. today, it is mostly god-based dogma to hate on homosexuals or to want them killed.

Re: Intellectual show offs.

it was an example!

Can someone please PM me when this thread goes back to the original topic.. I'd love to read what people have to say.. and support their replies with logic.

Re: Intellectual show offs.

logic wih out life???

So Gina how often you suggest a gay should repent ??
One who is active relation.??

Why logic has to be SO bookish.

It's between him and his God.. It's their own preference.. They're as much a part of society as anyone else. U can't question their religion or beliefs based on their sexual preference.

Once again..i'm interested in the original topic vs this one.

Re: Intellectual show offs.

When did I say we should question their lov for God?

All I am saying is if someone one wants to deny God to that extent/extreme why should they worry so much about God then ??
God is not their father/brother he does not need there care attention. He does have code for ppl to to go by.

I mean why making Islam a "social" practice ???? islam an ideology you believe it or you don't!!!!!

you can't have both.

The blue statement is 100% true .. but the next one (in red) is only half true. Religion cannot stop someone from having gay feelings, but religion can stop him from performing homosexual act
