Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

^ I don't see a whole lot of people like you coming out in condemnation of afridi's statement.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

How about taking tiny steps? For example, if you, dear Arleiter, drop this "Super Power" complex, I am sure you will start appreciating good performances from other teams as well. LOL.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

How can I drop that when indeed we are?

Moreover, when other teams play against us,we do not get to see good performances. We win all the time… Ohhh hope you have not forgotten one thing. We are the world champions. :k:

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

As an Indian I advise you not to “Overstay your Welcome”.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

After watching this video, I am glad that Pakistan lost the semi-final to India, and the players were able to return to their loved ones safe and sound. Had Pakistan won, the players would not have been able to even make it to Mumbai.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

what did he say?

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

dont be angry bhai jaan agla world cup aap ko hi milega , and i promise on behalf of my poor ill behaving indian brothers when pakistan gets world cup we will do bhangra and disco for three days , whenever my country’s wicket will fall we will dance for fifteen minutes and cheer for the opposite team , this is promise we will learn it from greats like you.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

dear paki boy, they were in safer places and in safer hands in india , but you should worry about their safety now because in pakistan you have cases in past where pakistani public was ready to welcome with dugup kabra for whole team ,when they lost series ,pakistani players did not return immediately for safety threats , even your own shere babar afridi was so much frightend after loosing the match that he started from profuse appology from your gentlemen pakistani public. suicide bombers are brainless creatures save yourself and your players ;

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

They actually got a hero's welcome upon their return. Also, we're talking about crowd behavior here, and not discussing the terrorism issue, which is a completely different topic. The journalists in the video are Indian and even they were disgusted by the crowd's behavior, even after India had won! After listening to their comments, it's quite obvious the kind of treatment Pakistani players would have got had they beaten India.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

Well in the link posted by paki boy, the behavioral aspect of the indian crowd in Mumbai has been discussed by no one else but by Indian journalists…so at least we can listen to their observations with credibility without attributing those comments to “sour grapes phenomenon”…but the problem is that the moment you say something that is perceived to be negative about any aspect of India, “The Indian Nationalism” would wake up with full force and it would become impossible to have an objective discussion….you will be ridiculed, called names, insulted and the whole discussion will simply go south…

based on what Indian journalists said, the Bombay crowd’s behavior seems despicable and would it be inappropriate to think that had Pakistan reached into the finals after defeating India, it may have faced some serious negativity? From anecdotal evidences, we know that the crowd in Dhaka, Colombo, Lahore and Karachi is not as disrespectful of opponents as the crowd in Mumbai and Calcutta…and I feel it has something to do with the tremendous desire of new generation of Indians in urban centers to stamp its “authority” on ‘world stage” at any cost……that is why every disucsison starts with ‘India is the Best” and ends with “Mahan India” and defeat is simply not acceptable…nothing wrong with those desires but experience tells us that when you try to have something too fast and prematurely, usually the end result is not that favorable!

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

so your hero who was apologising right and left was proved wrong , after he apologised i have seen many pakistani on net appealed to pak people to not to condemn the players , why ? pakistani crowd danced and welcomed , what else except dancing and singing indian crowd did that scared you so much that you considerd them murderous crowd? any way people like you cannot be convinced because you are not ready to listen and stay unconvinced, on the contrary indian public have hosted twice asian games ,nam meets, recently commonwealth games, we have record of excellent crowd behaviour ,we cheered pakistani team warmly. you should worry about safety of visiting teams because of bomb blasts and terrorist attacks test series was abandoned .

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

rest assured dacing and celibrating bombay crowd will not harm any visiting team , no need to worry

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

This thread is as pathetic as the crowd that it is criticizing. Yeah they are that way...who should care the most? the Indian crowd themselves...since today, their behavior is broadcasting to every single cricket watching nation and person around the world. And for that any nation should think about that in the same light.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

Absolutely not…no one is questioning dancing and enjoying…but why don’t you address the other aspects of the mumbai crowd outlined pretty clearly by the Indian journalists....“calling a player monkey consistently few years ago, doing organized profanity, abusing the srilankan players from top of their voice and rest of the crowd joining the chorus thus giving vent to their miserable frustrations publically, going on two-wheelers screaming obscenity of sri-lankan players after winning the match” now you don’t see that in other big urban centers of subcontinent….that is all we are saying…and remember majority of this crowd was highly educated….only 4000 tickets were for masses….rest of the 28000 tickets were secured by corporate India, who then distributed them per business needs….i am sure those tickets were given to people with potential in society…

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

Thats how you cheer for opposing team

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

I don't want to start bashing Indians here but that statement is such a joke. Short memory you have, because I vividly remember crowds disrupting matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the past. And from that video I just watched on cricinfo, that is thoroughly disgusting crowd behaviour. Abusing the Sri Lankans, and shouting obscenities even after the match ended, that is disgraceful behaviour. Sure these might just be a handful but those Indian journalists (and Zaltzman) certainly didn't appreciate that. For the record, I was watching the last few overs of the match in a cafe here, there was definitely a sense of longing and envy among the crowd but at the same time many were applauding the manner of the win.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

simply put your entire savings on one cricket match, your entire future will also revolves around your eyes and your faces will look dreadful like indians.

Re: Indian Crowd / How Indians have ruined cricket

Indians are the most pathetic breed of creatures out there I am sure :) Me being Indian, thoroughly agree with all the sentiments there and the cricket crazy fans are the lowest scum of sports fans out there. Soccer fans shower flower petals on the opposition teams when they lose, I have seen it with my own eyes in the leagues :) We need to learn from them and ofcourse the Pakistani crowd who shower the opposition team with bullets :)
