CONGRATS TO ALL INDIANS!! AND THANKS TO MOST OF PAKISTANIS ON HERE WHO HAVE BEEN PRETTY AWESOME WITH THEIR WISHES.

I have only read the last 4-5 pages. Of course we have to have comedians like Zareen to keep us entertained. Keep it coming Zareen. We all find your delusion quite entertaining.

Great scenes in Toronto. I just got home from watching the game at a friends place who had arranged a big party. I have the Indian flag flying on top of my car and so do a lot of cars on the road. Really surprised to see so many Indian flags everywhere!! Apparently downtown Toronto and Gerrard st is being flooded with Indians too for celebration. I am drunk and tired so can’t join them !!

Awesome innings by Gauti and Dhoni. They both stepped it up…they hadn’t so far in the WC. What a way to finish the game and seal the WC by Dhoni. Dhoni is totally awesome !!!

Great scenes after with players having Sachin on their shoulders. He had tears in his eyes..and was seen later drinking down champagne. I’ve never seen Sachin so visibly excited.

The better team won today but I thought Jayawardene's innings of 103* off 88 balls in a pressure game was quite briliant

no doubt Asif.. mahela was excellent.. he converted a sub par total to a par total by himself..... he is my favourite player in the SL team after dilshan... he is also a fantastic gentlemen and a great role model..

Yes he is a true gentleman. always plays the game in the right spirit and has been so consistent with the bat in both formats for 12+ years, a true professional and thoroughly decent man

have to feel for Jayawardene. Two successive world cup finals and two defeats..

Are you telling me that the indian team/captian shouldnt have appreciated the effort by the opponent team? What does the celebration at toronto or anywhere else for that matter got to do with what i said. Maybe you have a little too much to drink and hence acting stupid like this.

Who is this guy? What a retard. He has the balls to say that anyone whos been in cricket will know this is fixed. It’s the other way around actually. There is a cricketing explanation to all of his bakvaas “proofs”.

He was talking fine until Pakistan was in the game, probably he lost it once Pakistan lost the game :D, he was rubbishing all ‘fixing’ claims until then.

BTW he himself was a good batsman, when he had arrive people were saying him to be next Miandad but then there was lots of politics in the team those days (ethnicity based), he had conflicts with Saleem Malik/Ijaz Ahmad on various counts. At one point Basit and Rashid Latif announced retirement during a tour (probably South African), and if I am not wrong he was one of the whistle blowers against match fixers (as Saleem Malik was part of the ring).
