I am not surprised.Aussies have been famous for this. During Adelaide test Indians were called “Coolies” too.

But we are talking about Agarkar and Kumble. What are our options here?
[/QUOTE]
I already said... I would opt for Sanjay Bangar if Agarkar were to go back to his inconsistent self... and I will give Irfan Pathan some more time. Salvi is also not a bad prospect. What I am saying is we are better off trying someone new here(or give another utility player like Bangar some more chance) instead of having somebody who has not delivered for the last 6-7 years on a consistent basis.
As for Kumble, there is no dearth of young spinners in the country who can claim his place (Sarandeep Singh comes to mind, for example....). This in not to undermine Kumble's contribution to Indian cricket....but I dont want Kumble to become another Kapil Dev who played his last 30-40 test matches without delivering much but still got selected because his name was "Kapil Dev".
As far as Bangar is considered he is more like a batting Allrounder who can bowl.I will never count that guy as one of my main bowlers when I am captain of side.Heis capabilities are very limited.Salvi is a time waste.Pathan can be considerd but you dont wana go into a match with 3 left are bowlers. You need some variety. So reallistically speaking there arnt really any options.I am no fan of Agarkar but I think he has benifitted because of lack of good alternative.
Sharandeep was tried and He didnt impress anyone. But Ithink Amit Mishra could be a good alternative for Kumble but you wont ask a new spinner to debue against pakistan.I wont.
On lighter note…Agarkar’s wife Fatima is hotttt … ![]()

No prizes for guesssing what surpise she has for him.

lol that is a good one..
oops yeah aussies are sore losers..
well deserved win for India - and i just can't believe how quickly Australians collasped in the second innings - i had to squit my eyes two three times whether i was watching England vs India game
had it been Martin Love and Andrew Symonds - Australians would not have lost the match IMO - however take no credit away from India especially Rahul Dravid who went on the crease - and played like a real Champ as never before - it's good to be over with Sachin syndrome shoo.
not sure if the Indians were treated like as the report says - i have not read anything like that from the credible sources BBC, SMH etc etc but if it's true then it shows how immature Aussies are when it comes to losing - boy we felt it very good when England kicked Aussies butt in the Rugby World Cup in their own backyard.
even though Brett Lee will be back into the side but Jason is out - and there will be no McGrath so i think Cricket Australia has to think over and over for third test match squad.

I will not go so far to call all whites as racists. But some are. :)
This shows what a bunch of sore losers Aussies are especially if they r spanked in their own backyard … i hope India wins the series which is very much possible and let me forecast Tendi will comeback with a bang …
I hope indian guppies will also appreciate Pakistans performance next december once they r in AUS the way Pakistani guppies did it with Indias performance …
For those who wanna watch i’ll broadcast the 3rd test since Fox will not show the 2nd test NZ vs. PAK which is taking place at the same time
But Fox will show the 1st test starting tomorrow 11:00 pm Central European Time (10:00 pm GMT)

You bet we will.:k:
Just don’t expect us to appreciate any good performances in March.![]()
INDIA SUCKS
yar what the hell r u guys talking....australia kisi say bhi haarta india say kyon haara....and that too consider the situation.....playing on a pitch which was more or less similar to a sub continent pitch with no shane warne, mcGrath or Brett Lee in australia's lineup.....and even then they were home with only 4 wickets....when they couldve beaten them by a much bigger margin considering the fact that at 120 there were only 2 wickets down with tendulkar and dravid set and playing.
karina, i don’t think you will get a chance to. ![]()
Re: INDIA SUCKS
Moan moan…![]()
It hurts, eh? ![]()
Karachiexpress…are you trying to say we won’t get a chance to appreciate any good Pakistani performance?
come on yaara, don’t be so harsh on your team.![]()
wait, how can you enjoy our performance when we're kicking your ass. that's what i meant. do you get it now karina.
Praya Dhan, Parai Naar pe Nazar mat daalo. :nono3:
u guys are right, australians are terrible losers....they cant stand it....liken so are the indians, and they are even worse....chalo the australians, they are good, infact they are miles infront of every other team when their full strength is playing, may be thats why they hate losing....but what about the indians.
Look at the indian team yar.... such a huge amount of money and thinking goes in to their cricket. they have i think the best domestic setup after australia and south africa.....they have bowling, fielding and batting coaches from all over the world visiting their country time and again....they have numerous tv channels, live shows and experts from all over (wasim akram the latest for which he's not in my good books these days), who give them advices on everything....and yet they cant win abroad.... this win is i think the first one in decades....even the indians werent expecting it. I really do hope that mcGrath, gillespie and brett lee are fit before the end of this series and show the indians that they really are nothing more than an average team who cant do anything away from their backyard.

Ok Chalo..dont forget to take cold showers. :)
Just a comment:
India's beating Aus does not put Aus down in any way. They are still miles apart from all other cricket playing nations. Once in a blue moon win for other countries just like this one for IND (or ODI series win for Pakistan on their tour) does not make these teams equal to AUS.
I was reading the articles on the web (mostly Indian sites) suggesting the "main flaw" in Steve Waugh’s technique of "aggression" in test form of the cricket, what they don’t realize is that he has won 40 games with this technique and has lost only 6.
When we say "NO ONE CAN BEAT AUS", we don’t mean it “literally”. It’s just a term used every now and then. Of course any team can beat AUS on the day they play bad and the other team play good but some team has to it QUITE CONSISTENTLY to even come close to AUS.
Best of luck India for rest of the 2 games!

Agreed. Well said. But you have to notice that in recent times Aussies have had too many bad games. Zimbabwe gave them very good fight.NZL almost won the series.England defeated them in one test in their backyard.WI defeated them in a dead match but the did. And India defeated them 3 times in last 4 test that they played.Surely this team is on decline and I can see Ricky ponting having hard time maintaining the same kinda record as Steve.Rest time will tell.

Yes agree but one main reason for that is also the "fitness". Agree or not but around 3-5 years ago when they were almost unbeatable (again dont take it literally) it was very rare that we used to hear about any AUS player missing the game due to xyz injury. Whole team used to be super fit and now its quite comman that they have 2-3 best players (automatic choces) left out due to injury in every game (or even whole series) no matter test or ODIs.

I will agree with that in parts... Surely thier bowling resources will take time to get used to the standards maintainted by predecessors and surely everything has an ending, and i seriusoly hope thats it the beginning of the end of australiain dominance. Would love to see some evenness in alll the teams.
