Gilchrist just hit a SIX. One thing about the Aussies is that they never alter their game (no matter how many wickets have fallen).
Looks like Murli Karthik would have been very useful in the current situation. The report on rediff says that the wicket is turning a lot.
And as I write this... Gilchrist hits another SIX. This is what happens when you have to make do with part timers like Tendulkar.

Yeah, batting on the last day is going to be difficult. On the positive side Indians are better players of spin than the Aussies. Having said that, I think it is going to be a mind game this point onwards. If two-three of the top 6 Indian batsmen manage to score decently, India can still pull it off.

India needs 230 to win from 100 overs ..... if they bat halfway like they did in the 1st innings they can go into the 3rd test with a lead which'll sting Aussies badly as they r not used to be in a situation like that especially not at home looking at the prospect with only two tests remaining ..... Wicket is turning but not as much as Aussies score suggest.I thought Indian bowled brilliantly.Kumble was unlucky to get just 1 wicket.Sachins 2 wickets were crucial.
Wicket has some varying bounce.
