India in Australia!

I tender my sincere apologies to Agarkar for the harsh remarks I have made about him in the past.

The Game Responds:

*India deserve all the credit in the world. Warne or no Warne, McGrath or no McGrath; Healy should shut his trap and give credit where it's due. I don't know why they even have this prejudiced ******* on the commentary team. People, That Is All.*

na yaar, Mark Taylor i don thtink so.

CB--healy repeatedly kept mentioning things like 'oh i just wonder what would have been the situation if Mcgrath and warnie were playing, you got a guy who is new, Williams, a leggie who is not as acurate as warnie could be' and things like that.

Thing is that you play with your available players and yes they would have made a difference but they are not there so get on with it. No point in trying to devalue victory by pointing out that it is not their proper team or that their "Z" team was playing.

Aren't they the same Aussies who thought that they could beat anyone with their second team as well?

^^ Exactly.. Thier approach is mystifying seriuosly, i mean even Bichel and Gillespie think they are 'worlds best tail enders' who can play every shotin the book.. Even Top order's approach was puzzling to say the least, come on you dont have lead of 200-300, try to build lead rather than hit your way out of trouble.

*monkey ears pulled a fast 1 over me i hated him but he bowled his heart out for figures of 6 / 41 his best test haul… shabash :k: india r in the box seat they should reach the total with careful batting, i thought dravid’s innings was simply magical, my admiration for dravid’s all round game increases day by day.

i believe he is the most complete batsmen in the indian team… even 10di’ chipped in with 2 wickets, hopefully he’ll make some runs this time around if given the chance, his tour thus far has been very poor for somebody of his stature and precision.

the oz bowling due of lee, mcgrath and warne r really being missed as the scorecard’s shows, this indicates how poor their bowling is without the key bowlers in their side.*

Agarkar celebrates his greatest day in Tests with six wickets](Yahoo is part of the Yahoo family of brands.)

ADELAIDE, Australia (AFP) - Ajit Agarkar said the Australian batsmen’s penchant for going for their shots contributed significantly to his Test-best six-wicket haul to bowl India into a winning position in the second Adelaide Test.

The 26-year-old Bombay seamer Monday claimed 6-41 off 16.2 overs to help skittle the Australians for 196 in their second innings and leave the Indians 230 runs to win their first Test in Australia for over two decades.

They were 37 without loss at stumps on Monday and just 193 runs away from a momentous victory.

Agarkar, not rated highly when he first arrived in Australia with a Test bowling average of 46.57 for his 35 wickets in 16 Tests, has now taken 12 wickets in this series and is India’s leading wicket-taker.

He captured 4-4 off his last 19 deliveries to send the Australians reeling after the bat dominated the ball over the first three days of the Test, as predicted by Australian skipper Steve Waugh.

“They play positive cricket and usually go for their shots, so it always helps,” Agarkar said of the Australian batsmen.

"If there’s some sort of movement with the ball, you’ve got every chance to get some wickets.

“That’s the way they play, they try to play positive cricket and we have got every chance of getting them out when a guy is trying to play shots, so we’re not complaining.”

Agarkar said he had benefited from his bowling experience of touring Australia in 1999/00.

It was a miserable tour with the bat – he scored ducks in five consecutive Test innings.

“It’s been a long time since that happened, but it probably helped my bowling, I just ran in harder and tried to get some wickets so it was a good incentive to bowl well against them,” he said.

Agarkar said the Indian team were confident of scoring the runs needed for victory on Tuesday’s final day.

“We’re very confident, we have a great opportunity, and if we are patient enough and keep our heads, we should get the job done,” he said.

Its time to kick Aussies Butts, the way they were doing with otherss…

well played Indiansss… I hope they beat all the nuttss out of Aussies brainsss…

:bhangra:

rain rain come again…
dont put dear aussies to pain…
help us save this game…
and stop the hindis from making a name…

:crying:

WoW :k: great bowling, Aussies bowled for 196

Poor Waugh couldn’t do much in this test as well, his last series.

Yeh neeli neeli aankhen
Yeh gore gore gaal
Yeh kali kali zulfein
Aggi ne kar diya kamaal!

OMG Peoples am I unlucky or what?? I went to sleep when Australia were 3 down and Steve and Damien looked comfy. I thought I would wake up to maybe Aus 5 down at most. :smack:

Here’s my expert opinion for today’s play - Viru and Chopra have to make a 100 partnership at least! We don’t want a chance of a middle order collapse ruining it all…no, no, I can’t take these collapses anymore…no more I tell ya!
