Re: In the driver's seat..

Re: In the driver's seat..
Return of Kings is freaking great - haven't read it in a while though.
I remember retaliating to a snide remark from a poster after I made an initial remark about the topic of this thread. We should get back to the topic in hand - driving.
TTFM
Re: In the driver's seat..
If the above comment was aimed at me you should ask yourself is it not snide to sit here and slate all those girls you've slept with?
You talk about pedestals but you seem to have put yourself pretty high up on one for some reason.. You seem to think they're below you when really they're not..

Wasn't aimed at you.
As far as me going on about girls - meh, I state an opinion about whatever topic the thread is about, get asked to elaborate and it kind of spirals. Think it's best to not go there anymore - rubs people up the wrong the way for some reason. Don't know why though.
Just stating opinions off of my real life experiences - it's not gospel about how the world works.
Re: In the driver's seat..
i've no problem her driving my car as long as:
-she doesn't drive under the speed limit
-she doesn't watch oncoming cars at the horizon to make a left turn
-as long as she doesn't keep her both hands on the steering [at 3&9, 4&8, 10&2 or whatever the current advice is]
i know it's never gonna happen and that puts me in the driver seat! :D
Re: In the driver's seat..
err? what?
Me and begum fight over who should drive. Both of us *dont want to drive *(specially if its long drive). Its so much fun relaxing on passenger seat with seat back massager/heater turned on and seat back pushed all the way back.
Needless to say most of the time I end up driving. "Plz cant you do this for me? aap drive ker leen na" with that masoom look on face is a deadly weapon that I become victim of every single time! :(
Re: In the driver's seat..
I offer to drive when he is tired or sleepy. His response is, "Yeah, that will really wake me up"

Re: In the driver's seat..
I let him drive...always. I like it when he drives and he enjoys driving too.
Re: In the driver's seat..
I doubt she will listen. She drives faster than I do
Bruh I still drive at25 mph. It doesn't feel slow to me until I get in the car w my dad who drives the same speed. And I suddenly realize why my husband gets annoyed when I drive.
Re: In the driver's seat..
Here is to the new driver getting up the learning curve and stabilize in the fuel efficient 45 to 55 mph range.
Re: In the driver's seat..
And did I mention drive throughs are a big no no?
Thanks
Re: In the driver's seat..
I can't wait til my wife passes the test, so I can relax.
Re: In the driver's seat..
So following on (very loosely) from GG's thread do most men still want to be in the driver's seat when out with their wife?
In our family most are fine with their wife in the driver's seat but there are one or two exceptions..
I have come across a few guys who are very against their wives ever driving them around and even seen a couple of cases where the wife not only doesn't drive but sits in the back of the car whilst hubby is in front lol
This is a non-issue for me. Sometimes she drives. Other times I do. Although, when we're together, then I'll drive most of the time but more so that she can relax and not have to worry about driving, directions etc.
Re: In the driver's seat..
When we go out, hubby always drives. I don't think he trusts my driving ><
Re: In the driver’s seat..
For me It is! Not the women thing! Its the affair with the wheel! and unfortunately we (the men) have not much left, tesla, ford, even uber are going to put self driving cars on road very soon.
Here’s the catch! If you as a woman can drive stick shift? You can have the automatic too, otherwise, embrace the seat on right.
Re: In the driver's seat..
We both drive. Usually he drives more than me.
Re: In the driver’s seat..
So for you its a problem if a girl sits on a drivers seat? Why? Because you think girls can’t drive stick shift? If that is the case then I think you shouldn’t be eating “khairat” either as that is also against your manhood, isn’t it? ![]()
I can drive a manual car & if a guy can’t digest this fact then he should either embrace the seat on right or just go to hell as I am not gonna feed him “khairat” my whole life.
Re: In the driver’s seat..
Relax angry bull!! Donot unload your ammunition if you can manage the stick! We find people we are meant for!
Oh by the way, I’ve got professional free divers license, 230 hours on cesna, and three iron man under name! come back when you have guns and we’ll settle it out over duel!!
Re: In the driver’s seat..
^ good for you. If you guys are man enough then why you need wives who can feed you whole lives? Driving a stick shift is not a girl thing but feeding “khairat” to guys is?
