So following on (very loosely) from GG’s thread do most men still want to be in the driver’s seat when out with their wife?
In our family most are fine with their wife in the driver’s seat but there are one or two exceptions..
I have come across a few guys who are very against their wives ever driving them around and even seen a couple of cases where the wife not only doesn’t drive but sits in the back of the car whilst hubby is in front lol
I would prefer it if someone else drove once in a while especially if it's crazy drivers, crazy traffic and the other person is a lot more laid back when it comes to stressful driving in a busy downtown area. I'm totally fine with it but never being able to drive or sitting in the back because hubs wants it that way, would make me so very thankful i'm single.

Interesting. I actually don't mind when the men in my family drove. Gives me ample time and luxury to mess around with the music system Accroding to my liking :D however, no one fussess when I drive either. The men are all cool :)
My views surrounding women - especially when it comes to divorce in the UK and inheritance issues are based on my real world observations that I have made from friends and family - women having privilege in such issues (I get most of you guys haven’t experienced such things, in fact, you’ve most probably experienced the exact opposite, and as such are baffled by my views). I don’t believe in privilege for anyone in anything. I believe in equal rights and responsibilities for everyone on every single issue. I feel that the only time allowances should be made is when a woman is pregnant and for 9 months to a year afterwards. Other than that, both men and women should be held to the same standard for both rights and responsibilities.
The century in which guys who sleep around talk about having arranged marriages with virgin wives ;)
lol, touche! As far as arranged marriages go - there are girls that you play with and there are girls you marry and breed with. Always has been, always will be.

If we try giving my sister an equal share, my dad will disown us, he's made that clear (don't think I haven't had umpteen arguments with him over this). Besides, I don't need his money. My dad is doing to my sister exactly what his mother did to him. She gave privilege to her daughters and sil's (my dad was left with all the responsibilities yet got no rights) and my dad is giving privilege to his sons and dil's (he expects us to take on all the responsibilities whilst being given privilege in rights).
