In the driver's seat..

Re: In the driver's seat..

Can you even drive in Pakistani traffic? My mum can probably beat you at any driving game. Carry on.

Re: In the driver’s seat..

Just found out what kharat is, I had been reading it wrong all along. It’s kinda rude thing to say. Dear charity lady, we honor our wives, you’ve been getting the wrong idea. For instance, I am very good at gardening, but I leave out the parts, because my dad likes to do it! KO.

Yes, i’ve been in pakistan for almost a month now, and bring back my ride scratchless always, it’s difficult from another perspective, as you have to manage next person on road, secondly they dont follow the rules, thirdly you drive on british side, but still you have to find someone very good to beat me. Autobahn have been the toughest one so far for me. I am planning to sneak into nurburgring if i can find nice set of wheels.

Re: In the driver's seat..

First of all, its "khairat" not "kharat" , don't butcher our beautiful language please. If you are an ABCD & didn't get the chance to learn our beautiful language Urdu than don't bother using it too, stick with your "angrezi".

Whats so rude in it? How you honor your wives? Half the guys these days are on their wives money which is khairat, trust me they are & they have no right over it yet they want them to work & feed them even when it is not required. This is how guys honor their wives these days?

KO????

Re: In the driver's seat..

Ahem, not cutting in on your feud here...but...230 hours on a Cessna ?

You a Pilot bud ?

I don't stop my wife from driving, with me in the car. I just simply move to the back seat, put my seat belt on, and start reciting kalma e shahadat loudly. She usually gives the driving back to me immediately.

Re: In the driver's seat..

Feud, lol, :) It was merely a skunk, which is off the radar now!

Yes I am.

40+ in US, 42+ in my state and you are entitled to be the pilot and from there onwards life gets beautiful! 200+hours you can get lifetime memberships with several mainstream clubs.

Re: In the driver's seat..

Awesome. You perhaps have a PPL bud ?

What do you pay an hour for a C172 or a PA28 ?

Re: In the driver's seat..

Depending on status of your application, club and it's legislative subscriptions it can range between $80-200, Southern clubs are definitely more economical. Private owners can let you have it for as low as $45, as long as they know you. I haven't had an experience on pipers, but i am sure DA42s and piper 28s are in same range.
I am sure, we are very economical in terms of getting off the ground. Can;t say for south africa, but Europeans even the Multanians (Pakistan) are pretty expensive.

Pm me if you want discuss more on this, forum just got detracked.

Re: In the driver’s seat..

Oh…chipships…I thought bashing htm’s blog was one time thingy and mjak sort of thing… Why do u have to say such stuff to bakhabar too…:frowning:

Re: In the driver's seat..

Re: In the driver’s seat..

Wife sitting in the backseat when there’s no reason to is strange; it makes the husband look like her chauffeur or driver. Not a flattering image.

I don’t care; I see it as a non-issue. There are other, more deserving matters to dwell on lol. I wouldn’t mind if he drives. I may even prefer it as I like looking out the window and daydreaming lol. Plus, I’ve poor sense of direction. :hinna:
